I’m the founder of a small mechanical repair shop. We provide services and repairs to all major brands of vehicles.

What was the scope of their involvement?

PINECONEPIXEL has done website development and branding for us. We initially gave them a few ideas of what we wanted, and they created the entire image of the business, including the logo. They captured every aspect we had in mind and provided the best options to capture the customers’ attention when they visit the website, which was created from scratch.

Once we have the funds, we’ll use them for marketing.

What is the team composition?

We’ve only been in touch with their CEO. He knows what we want, and he conveys that to the rest of the team. It’s very easy to work with this way.

Their CEO introduced himself to me a while ago, and we got along quite well. I looked at their previous work. It was captivating how they presented the business, which drove me to use them for our projects.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $6,000 without monthly fees and support services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We kicked off the project around October 2020. We’re extremely happy with their work, so our collaboration continues.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The website looks a lot more professional, but it’s also out of the ordinary for a mechanical retail shop. We haven’t done any marketing work because the business is only a year and a half old, so we started slowly. However, we’ve definitely seen a lot of new people after the website was published.

How did PINECONEPIXEL APP DEVELOPMENT (PTY) LTD perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything has been wonderful regarding deadlines. They told us in the beginning how long it would take to put everything together, and we’ve had 2–3 meetings just to clarify a few things.

Most of our communication has been over the phone, but we’ve met face-to-face and through Skype. We also use an Excel spreadsheet to manage the project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The service they provide is impressive and firm. I’ve never dealt with someone with such a prompt and friendly service.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There isn’t anything they could improve. Whenever we need help, we just call them, and they’re happy to assist.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Speak with their CEO and give him your thoughts. He’ll bring up all kinds of great ideas on how to broaden your businesses.
