Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the West Coast Director of Truth Pharm. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization focused on educating, raising awareness, reducing the stigma, and advocating for policy change to reduce the harms caused by substance use/abuse.

For what projects/services did your company hire Pineapple Pictures, and what were your goals?

We hired Pineapple Pictures to choreograph and film an educational presentation on the teenage brain and how/why substances of abuse alter the physiology of the developing brain.

How did you select Pineapple Pictures and what were the deciding factors?

I was acquainted with their work and thought it would be a good fit for our organization.

We had a meeting about the objective (which was to have a clean video of one of our educational presentations). We had a dry run to make sure lighting and choreography was to our liking.

We were given feedback on positioning, iteration... that would enhance the quality of the final product. And then I offered feedback during the editing process so as to be sure all necessary components of the presentation were in tact.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with Alex and Murdock primarily. There were excellent suggestions and feedback during the dry-run process.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

This video is on our website so that the information is available to people who are unable to attend our live presentations. Truth Pharm is asked to speak at various events as this video demonstrates very well our professionalism and passion.

The project manager was easy to communicate with and provided updates in a timely manner. Most of our communication was in person.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They took the time to learn about our goals to capture the essence of what the presentation was meant to convey.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Honestly, everything was really great. Any suggestions that we wanted were incorporated. We were able to see (from the dry run throughs) what the video would look like and were able to make any necessary changes.

Alex and Murdoch have been instrumental in helping my agencies capture professional green screen interviews in my studio. Alex is directing and Murdoch in director of photography. Their attention to detail is amazing as well as their creative vision.
