I’m the founder of Complete School Reports. We’re an online membership business where users can utilize our report writing program and save a fraction of their time.

What challenge were you trying to address with Perth Digital Edge?

I previously had a membership platform that was very slow, unresponsive, and riddled with issues, so we needed to develop a new one that works.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Perth Digital Edge redeveloped my website. They streamlined the entire platform and are currently providing us with ongoing maintenance and upgrading.

Apart from that, they’ve also been helping us with SEO strategies and Google Ads management.

What is the team composition?

I primarily work with Ben (Business Owner).

How did you come to work with Perth Digital Edge?

I found them through a Facebook group when I was having issues with my original developer. I asked if anyone can help me with this project, and someone commented that I should get in touch with Ben.

I got in contact with about three developers, but Ben was the one who responded to me straight away and took the time to understand what I needed.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around $20,000 AUD (approximately $14,200 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing partnership started in June 2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The general feedback from our members has been very positive. The site runs smoothly and people have been enjoying the service as they are.

Moreover, they’ve helped me rank on the first page of Google with some of our chosen keywords.

How did Perth Digital Edge perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re really good from a project management perspective. Because of the time difference, they’re able to work on any issue and when I’d wake up, it would be fixed.

We mostly communicate through Skype and phone calls, but we would also use Loom to record videos they can reference during the development process.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with their communication skills, responsiveness, and competitive pricing.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’ve been really happy with everything so nothing comes to mind.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would say there’s no need to hesitate and just go work with them. Perth Digital Edge transformed my business and I’m really grateful for that.

What challenge were you trying to address with Perth Digital Edge?

We were looking to expand our business and move into larger jobs, so we engaged Perth Digital Edge to do some SEO work for us.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Perth Digital Edge sat down with me and listened to what I wanted to accomplish with the project. They helped draft up a plan to improve our search engine rankings. The team tweaked the content on my website and focused on all the other aspects required for optimization. We’re still working together on a monthly basis to keep an eye on things.

Ben (Manager) is my main point of contact.

How did you come to work with Perth Digital Edge?

I initially wanted to upload an explainer video to our website, so I did a virtual search for companies that could help with that. Perth Digital Edge came up, so I made contact with them, and they suggested we start working on SEO.

How much have you invested with them?

Initially, we were spending about $1,100 per month, which we eventually increased to between $1,500–$1,800 per month. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since July 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

My main goal from the website is to get customers to reach out to my office and get quotes. The number of phone calls we receive has now gone up 300%. Similarly, we saw an immediate improvement with our SERP performance, moving from basically no presence whatsoever to the first page on Google.

How did Perth Digital Edge perform from a project management standpoint?

I meet with Ben once or twice a month to make sure everything is progressing and that we’re performing well. He’s a collaborative individual, and I can have frank conversations with him about strategy, timelines, and budgets. I’m quite pleased.

What did you find most impressive about them?

One of the best aspects of working with Perth Digital Edge is their level of communication. Also, the results we’ve seen from their efforts have been phenomenal.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing I can think of. They deliver what they say they’ll deliver. It’s hard to be critical of Perth Digital Edge.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have a goal and know what you want to end up. Also, prepare to stick to budget. You can’t expect miracles if you’re not prepared to pay for them
