What specific goals or objectives did you hire PEAK QA to accomplish?

• Goal of the project was to build a new custom frontend for an e-commerce platform. On the backend side, the objective was developing new modules, and fixing bugs.
• Goal of testing was to ensure that the new e-commerce pages built on the frontend side meet the quality requirements of the client, and the timelines are respected.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Context: 2 separate teams developing in parallel on frontend and backend.  Peak QA joined both teams. 

Project Objectives:  Build a new custom frontend for e-commerce, Peak QA target was that releases delivered meet clients quality requirements. Backend side, extending functionalities and fixing issues, QA was responsible for validation, and making sure the website stayed stable.   

Deliverables: QA process, Bug Tickets, Test Plans(Smoke, Sanity, Regression), Test Scenarios Creation, Automated Tests, Documentation

Timeline and Milestones: Release to Production every week, one frontend & one backend. Features tested by the time of the release. Running Test Plans making sure no new critical/blocker issues will go on Production.  

Responsibilities: 1 QA responsible for the quality gates, and giving the green light for releases in Production based on Features Tested & Test Plans executed. 

Quality Standards: Based on Features Tested, Test Plans executed and communication with the final client.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• Weekly releases to Production on frontend & backend, and the client was happy with the releases quality.  
• Critical/Blocker bugs found early in the development process, before going live. 
• New E-commerce Pages: Product Search Page, Product Category Page, Product Detail Page went successfully Live on Production.

The quality of the code and delivery skyrocketed after their involvement. The end customer was really happy with the results, communication and insight.

The QA lead made sure everything was taken care of. Communication, reporting, setup, everything. Communication was always clear, constructive and honest.
