BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

Blackbird Signs is a small, family owned Sign manufacturing business in Sumner, Qld. We have been in operation since 2018. My role is Director and Office Manager.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Patch Agency ?

We hired Patch Agency to give our Social Media accounts a fresh new look and to try and build our brand recognition through the socials.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I searched for agencies that were based locally. I was keen to not send the work overseas. I chose Patch because they appeared to be very knowledgeable about all things digital media and because they are based in Brisbane.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

I had an initial consultation with Josh to discuss what we were looking for in terms of digital marketing support. He explained in detail the different options available to us. I then had a second meeting with two other team members, Will and Chelsea, who went into more detail about our goals and then what they would do for us in terms of building our social media presence.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

For the most part, I worked mainly with Will.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are very happy with the presentation of our Social Media, particularly our Instagram account, since Patch began managing it. They have made many more connections with other accounts in ours and related industries, as well as presented our business in a professional and progressive fashion.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The communication with the Patch team is great! They made themselves available when you needed them and kept you updated with what was happening on your project via regular emails.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and easy to deal with. I really like that I can call the team, or email them and know that they will usually respond within a couple of hours (if not sooner).

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Perhaps a little more in depth information on the metrics would be good.
