We wanted our Tax Returns completed accurately and on time. After spending some $15,000.00 upfront, none of this had been delivered.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the engagement or general feedback about the services?

We rate Pacific Accounting 0 out of 5. Pacific Accounting, lead by Kevin (CEO) and run by Russell (Director) must be the most incompetent and unreliable bookkeeping firm in Sydney, if not Australia. As a small business with 2 employees and a contractor, we have spent some $15,000.00 since June 2021 to get our Tax Returns and BAS Returns lodged.

Despite paying this gross sum upfront, our 2018, 2019 and 2020 Tax Returns have still not been lodged because of their ongoing "unforeseen delays” and disinterest in the vital reliance that small businesses have in get their financial statements completed accurately and submitted on time.

As a small company, we have had to reliable on obtaining ridiculous high interest rate business loans to address our immediate post covid cash flow issues simply because we could not apply for SME loans that required our financials to be up to date, all thanks to the tardy and inaccurate work of Pacific Accounting and their associated company, Books and Wages Pty Ltd.

By this stage, we have already been issued penalty notices by the ATO due to non/late submissions from this company and a review of their bookkeeping methods by an independent accounting firm revealed that all the book keeping work that they had actually completed to date did not even reconcile!

Our matter is now being forwarded to the Australian Government Tax Practitioners Board and NSW Fair Trading to investigate this firm's failure to comply with required professional standards and a separate civil proceeding is being commenced to restitute our financial losses that we have suffered directly due to this company's tardiness and incompetence.

As a business owner or any person looking to get their tax returns or book keeping done correctly and on time, please don’t make our mistake and avoid using the services of these incompetent scam artists at all costs.

Most communications done by email trying to explain/cover-up for their delays and inaccuracies.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Nothing. Avoid this company at all costs!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Everything. This company's license to provide bookkeeping services is being investigated for tardiness and gross incompetence.
