Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Outpost4 worked on Godwalker to help conceptualize and create artwork for characters and scenes in the game in order to more completely flesh it out. They also worked on the game to help build more refined user interface elements to help the game become more readable. They delivered 5 conceptual artwork pieces focusing on Hades, one of the characters in the game, one of which was a large-form artwork focusing on a specific scene which was outlined for them. They also delivered several UI Font demos as part of the iteration process.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After Outpost4 provided us with the artwork and conceptual materials we were more accurately able to build and refine our work to create a higher quality product. Environments in the project were greatly more detailed and refined as a result of this conceptual work, and players were more easily able to read and interact with the user interface.

They were incredibly thoughtful and were able to quickly respond to any changes needed, and were communicative enough to have received my needs and deliver on time. They were open and honest about what they were able to do, and as a result I could not recommend them more.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to produce at such a rate without anything feeling too pressuring. They were able to create incredibly specific works in incredibly short amounts of time without ever seeming to be overwhelmed or unable to do so. I am impressed with their attention to style and taste, and the results speak for themselves. It is rare that a company can tackle both specific knowledge and taste, and Outpost4 was able to do both.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Outpost4 Studio could have done differently?

As far as I can tell, no. They have already found ways to update and change their roster and communication methods to ensure that they are producing things properly and on time. I have checked in with this company regularly to see how they are doing, and most often than not it is much better than I could have expected.

The Outpost4 team was responsible for developing 3 applications in Unity, 1 control version which directly replicated our clients app that was on the market and 2 test versions which our team designed and worked with them to develop. The O4 team also set up the analytics dashboard for the experiments and gave us iOS and Android versions.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was delivered to the satisfaction of our clients and the apps worked great in the 3 month test. Analytics were also instrumented successfully to allow us to collect the necessary data.

Yes the team delivered on time. They were also very flexible as timelines and scope changed and worked with us to navigate these changes so all parties felt good about them.

We initially contracted them to also provide UI design for the project but ended up using our own designers due to project timelines and the project familiarity our designers had.
