BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

As the digital strategist and graphics designer at a NCAA Division I athletics department, I hired Outlyrs for a development campaign web project.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Outlyrs, LLC?

I hired Outlyrs to design a web page to launch a fundraising campaign and announce a new facility design. I asked them to utilize our renderings and also provide a way for donation outreach. Additionally, I worked with them to explain the foundation of the campaign.

What were your goals for this project?

To inform our fans and stakeholders about our new fundraising campaign which would include a new facility. Additionally, I needed to make sure the page was easy to navigate and read, both on desktop and mobile devices.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I had a previous relationship with the co-founders of Outlyrs and knew I would hire them for a project just like this one.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

Outlyrs provided web design and development for this project. I gave them a brief overview of the project and a few examples of what I was looking for and then turned it over to them. In less than a week of production, they showed me the product, which was right on what I was looking for. They gave me a few image rotators to show off our renderings, and more importantly, made the page perfect for mobile browsing.

What was the team composition?

The project included four people, but I was the team lead. I worked directly with Ben and Michael for the project. They knocked it out of the park.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The launch of this page was featured in a newspaper of a large DMA and widely discussed for its ease of use by fans and stakeholders. The page also included information for how to donate, which provided exceptional customer service for our fans.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We had constant communication. If they had questions, they reached out to me and we discussed them before they continued work on the project. They allowed me to ask questions about how their code worked and even gave me suggestions for future projects.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Exceptional customer service and the quick turnaround of a thorough project.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They are great to work with. Outlyrs will continue to grow and thrive under Ben and Michael's leadership.
