Onlineshop Factory is the brand of Online Factory GmbH, an owner-led web and e-commerce agency in Kollbrunn near Winterthur, Switzerland. We plan, build and maintain online shops on Shopify and WooCommerce and corporate websites on WordPress for Swiss small and medium-sized businesses – in business since 2019, incorporated in 2021.
Two things define how we work. First, every build is designed for search visibility from the start: technical SEO, site structure and content are part of the project scope, not a later add-on. Second, we know the Swiss market in detail – TWINT, PostFinance Pay and invoice payment, Swiss VAT and shipping rules, multilingual stores and the checkout habits of Swiss customers. Many international agencies deliver a good-looking shop that then struggles with exactly these points.
Selected work: for ETH Zurich we consolidated three departmental shops into a single WooCommerce platform while keeping the university's existing payment provider. For brands such as LivingNatural and AB Lager we launched Shopify stores with a lean payment setup and no fixed fees at the start. Several of our projects are published as case studies with real figures.

Onlineshop Factory is two founders who do the work themselves: Roman Flükiger (computer scientist, development) and Marco Hofer (SEO and design). We started in 2019 in Kollbrunn near Winterthur and work with Swiss SMEs only. Our conviction: the order of steps decides – brand before shop, keyword research before structure, structure before content, content before ad budget. Every shop and website is built to be found on Google from day one. No sales layer, no outsourcing.
