The project was to create a bespoke motion graphic video that succinctly told the story about the challenge facing the local new industry and what the Ping! platform was doing to address the issue. The key deliverables were to:

create a theme that incorporated the old news industry with the new using the brand template;
simplify the complex offering of the product;
tell the story in an engaging way in no more than 2 minutes;
deliver a shareable, social-ready video.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The motion graphic film has become the central focus of our website directing people through the story, the challenges we are facing as an industry and finally the sign-up page via the call to action.

Without Omni Productions, our project simply wouldn't have gotten off the ground. Omni has been the driving force of the project from the very beginning, not just in terms of tech development, but in project management, marketing, solutions, design, visuals and funding - they have helped us turn our small idea into an industry-changing application.

Ideas are always clearly communicated; their engineers are always on hand to trouble-shoot and, when they believe in a project, like they believed in ours, there's little they wouldn't do to see it through. We were especially pleased with how the motion graphic video came out, as it was something we had never considered. All in all, very professional, friendly, adaptable, dynamic and progressive. A great team to work with.

Omni supported Underfall Yard Trust with the creation of an information/campaign video about the recovery of the yard following last year's devastating fire. They filmed multiple straight-to-camera interviews with a range of individuals connected to Underfall Yard Trust: Chair of Trustees, Director, Tenant, Volunteer as well as a local MP. They also filmed B-roll footage of the yard in action, the aftermath of the fire, the Visitor Centre with volunteers and visitors. They edited the footage together to tell the story of the yard, the fire and the recovery.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The team have been amazing - handling the subject matter sensitively and creating an impactful piece of media that will support us with the communications strategy during our recovery and reinstatement project.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The team have been been amazing - communication has been clear, prompt. They have worked flexibly to our timescales and re-edited the video for us to meet a changing scope/brief. Darren and Simon have been particularly brilliant to work with - I can absolutely recommend working with Omni.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Everyone involved is passionate, kind, and easy to work with. When filming the to-camera pieces, they gave clear and useful directions that allowed even the most nervous of our interviewees to relax and give a fantastic response. They put everyone at ease. They understood the nature of the site and the challenges we were facing. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Omni Productions could have done differently?

I do not have any areas where I feel Omni could have improved. They were excellent throughout.
