Ocean View Games act as our Lead Engineering partner. They took ownership of the core gameplay systems, multiplayer networking, and performance optimization. Leveraging their background with Jagex/Runescape, they architected a solution that supports high concurrent user counts and complex player interactions in-game. They integrated directly with our internal creative teams to ensure the technical backend supported our gameplay vision.

The technical expertise David and his team brought delivered measurable impact across performance, stability, and delivery.

 Their guidance eliminated multiple high-risk refactors, reducing crash rates and deployment failures, while network performance and scalability were optimized for our live playtests and MMO environments. 

As a result, we achieved faster playtests, smoother deployments, and a production-ready multiplayer stack capable of supporting large-scale concurrent users. 

Their understanding of live-ops development directly translated into tangible progress and operational efficiency within our MMORPG.

What stood out most was the team’s hands-on experience building and operating live MMORPGs at scale, particularly their background at Jagex on RuneScape.

This level of real MMO expertise is exceptionally rare and immediately visible in both architectural decisions and execution quality in our game. 

They consistently approach challenges with a strong mindset, designing systems not just for launch, but for long-term scalability and focusing on continuous content.

No meaningful areas for improvement were identified during our engagement and we remain in a continuous partnership. Communication, delivery, and technical execution consistently met a very high standard.
