Bangmewsic is a talent management company that houses Lyta. I work as a talent manager for Lyta.

For what projects/services did your company hire OATS Technologies Africa?

We needed a website for Lyta and we contacted them and they helped in getting that done.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to get his fans to sign up to his mailing list which we needed a website to leverage that.

The Digital Marketer is a friend, so I contacted him about the needs for our artiste. We kicked things off almost immediately

We wanted to control the online narrative and prescence of our artiste. A website seemed like the best place to start. It was to showcase his discography, EPK, tours, images about him and a blog to share information

The team that worked with us was my Digital Marketer friend, and their Web Developer

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We saw a considerable growth in online mentions for the OfficialLyta brand. They also incorporated signup forms and grew the email list to over 2000 in less than 3 months It was very impressive

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was not so impressive as the quality of work We had different breaks in transmission due to our project manger not been responsive but we were able to meet our deadlines all the same

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They were fast and effective. The work drmonstrated high level of creativity and expertise Their communication could have been better but amazing experience all the same

Are there any areas for improvement?

The landing page to promote the website was sprung up fast but the whole iteration process took time Communication between my team and theirs seemed to cause the drawbacks but except from that we are good with everything they did

We hired them to design and develop a website for our record label and artiste manegment company. The goal was to build a more professional online presence as our brand was already known on social media.

How did you select OATS Technologies Africa and what were the deciding factors?

We already worked with them to build a website for one of our acts, Lyta, so it was easy picking them again.

The project was to develop a fully functional website for the record label. Responsive on mobile also as most of our customers on social use their mobile phones to consume our content. The website is built on wordpress.

We worked with their Digital Marketer and Web developer. They were both our major points of contact as they were core to our plans.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We loved the website they developed for us. We were also able to provide a place to provide more information about more acts that we were going to announce. They integrated a chat solution on the website so we can talk to web visitors in real time. We also got more emails and form submissions from the website so all-in-all We are happy with what they did.

We communicated regularly and delivered press kits for all of our acts. We spoke regularly over the phone and communicated through emails for files. The whole project took less than 3 weeks.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The strategy, level of expertise, and creativity displayed throughout the project were impressive. The results we had at the completion of the project was impressive. More artiste inquiry mails, form submissions and live chat requests increased from when we used only social media. We were happy overall.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Yes. Initially, we found it difficult to update the website and use the chat capabilities but with time, we got a hang of it.

We had a kick-off meeting to agree on parameters and project delivery timeline. We had 3 meetings at different intervals to agree on changes and upgrades.

Our 3rd party clients were satisfied with the delivered project. Our corporate website has 80% uptake on client usage and customer interaction after the project delivery

We communicated using slack, and Skype group. All steps were approved before project execution.
