Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the owner of a watch brand. Our company designs vintage-inspired watches and manufactures and sells.

For what projects/services did your company hire Nocturnal Lab?

Our site has undergone many design modifications. I wasn't satisfied and ended up compromising just to keep the site alive. However, since a new product is scheduled to be released, I was thinking about redesigning all pages of the site. I don't have in-house engineers, so we needed to outsource.

What were your goals for this project?

It is important that the design follows the brand image. Not only that, it required more technical knowledge of speed, Google-friendly, user-friendly, page structure, and much more I don't know.

How did you select Nocturnal Lab?

I found Nocturnal Lab on social media. I first saw the design portfolio on their site. They had the latest design and were very nice. I consulted about the redesign several times and received honest opinions and accurate advice, and I thought it was reliable. Therefore, we decided to outsource Nocturnal Lab.

I left it all to him. I asked only for brand colors and fonts.

What was the team composition?

I interacted with one person from the beginning to the end. It was good that he grasped everything, there was no confusion, and communication was smooth.

They are easy to communicate, provide work updates frequently, and on-time delivery.

The overall structure of the site. Fully understand the purpose and It is a design made for.

I am satisfied with their service.

I’m the director of a consultancy and training company.

What challenges were you trying to address with Nocturnal Lab?

I needed a website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I’m not very technologically savvy, so I didn’t know where to start. They guided me through the process and asked me for all of the information I needed on the website. They also made a tutorial video for me to learn how to access the backend of the website myself to update information and upload blog posts. They used WordPress to build the website. 

What is the team composition?

I work with one person. 

How did you come to work with Nocturnal Lab?

I found them on Fiverr. I posted my project on the platform, and more than 100 vendors contacted me with proposals. Nocturnal Lab’s stood out to me because it was quite cheeky and creative. I felt comfortable working with them just from reading the pitch. 

How much have you invested in them?

The initial website build cost me about $64. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together in April 2020. The initial website development project is done, but I still go back to them for projects as needed.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Their style is very cool and calm. They did far more than I asked them and have really elevated my online presence. I get lots of positive feedback on the website. People say it looks really nice and professional. 

How did Nocturnal Lab perform from a project management standpoint?

I communicate with them through email and directly through Fiverr. They’re super responsive and proactive. A few days ago, they notified me that someone else was trying to log in to my website and told me to change the password. I like that they’re available to me whenever I need them. They’re on top of it. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re personable and genuine. They always deliver to the best of their ability. I asked for a pretty basic one-page website, and they over-delivered. I was really impressed. They’re creative and exceed expectations. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

There isn’t any specific advice I could give. They bring ideas out of you, so you don’t need to worry if you’re not sure what you want.

Owner Vega Fly offers a premium Drone Surveying service. Our headquarters is in Greensboro, North Carolina. We continue to grow by partnering with other drone operators across the country and hopefully one day, the world!

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since the creation of our website and logo, Nocturnal Lab worked with us to set up a social media presence. Our growth in the last year and the amount of clients we have received was more than we could have hoped for so early and we could not have done it without Nocturnal Lab.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow between teams was seamless. Nocturnal Labs made themselves readily available at what seemed to be any time we needed them. Day or night.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their dedication to their clients. It didn't matter what we needed or when we needed it.

Are there any areas for improvement?

If there was any area for improvement we didn't see it. Nocturnal met my every expectation and more. I couldn't have asked for a better service.
