I am the project lead for EduSystems - online education platforms. We have three locations across Australia and offshore offices in India.

For what projects/services did your company hire Nintriva Technology Solutions, and what were your goals?

We have online learning platforms and student information systems with integrations to third party applications such and financial, payment and statistical reporting. Many of them were working separately and legacy systems. Due to the difficulty of maintainability, user experience and need for high availability and scalability. We decided to integrate into a common platform and cutting-edge software technology and tools.

So after a good research and evaluation, we hired Nintriva to develop an API driven platform and client interface with Angular JS. Our goal was to offer a better user experience, ensure a high level of data security, scalability and availability with zero downtime.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found Nintriva through the reference and considered it along with many other on-shore and off-shore technology companies. Since I came from a software development background and actively involving in our developments as well, We have well-defined criteria and technological preferences. Team Nintriva was a perfect match in terms of Know-how and capability to deliver such a project.

The communications with the Nintriva team proved their knowledge and attention to detail which is necessary for the result-driven delivery of the project in due time.

We started with a discovery phase then they designed and developed a prototype of the platform in API driven CakePHP REST API and Angular JS client application. The documentation and visibility of API endpoints over swagger were productive and useful. The project did in 3 weeks sprit and a week for testing which allowed us thoroughly test and give feedback.

The Atlassian JIRA orchestrated our issue and sprint management. The test-driven development and automated deployment taken out many heavy lifting and allowed us we focus more on product and user experience testing.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There were six people in the core team. Project Manager, a Technical Lead/Analyst programmer, two backend developers and two frontend developers. Occasionally a UI/EX expert and designer joined us provides valuable design concepts and user experience feedback.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were able to launch the prototype model sidetracked with selected staff members and students. We found many didn't want to go back to legacy applications; then we opened new system use to more staff and students. The continuous delivery and better user experience and application performance was a key success.

The project management was through Atlassian JIRA and the JIRA service desk (to collect student feedback). Atlassian Bitbucket is used for source code management. PHPUnit for backend Protractor and Jasmine for frontend - test-driven development. Communications were through skype.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive thing about Nintriva Technology Solutions was the people and the can-do attitude to challenges. Their enthusiasm and efforts to bring the best user experience and performance to the application are much appreciated.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

While the quality of work, user experience and application performance were great, they could have been more diligent about accessibility enhancements for individuals and used by people with disabilities.

We wanted to develop a learning app for primary school kids. We wanted a very simple and easy to use interface which will be highly engaging.

We were searching for a company to do the app development and a friend of mine gave a very good reference about Nintriva.

The scope of work included requirement gathering and initial wireframes, creation of a hybrid mobile app with offline capability and the development of a full-fledged portal for content creation and management.

There was a project manager, a lead frontend developer, a lead back end developer, and two key resources for UI/UX development. The team also had a few junior resources.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The product was really good and there was a lot of customer acceptance. In fact, the product quality played a key role in helping us close our first round of fundraising.

Most of the project management happened through JIRA. We also had occasional in-personal meetings to review targets/milestones.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most important aspect I like about the team is their flexible and accommodative approach. They are really talented people and always plays a team game.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We are generally satisfied with their approach and can't pinpoint any specific area of concern.

We hired Nintriva to build "Kesher" our cloud CRM solution for small business.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found them though the web, searching for a technological partner. We were impressed with the set of capabilities they had.

They actually built our product from scratch. Today this product is one of our main offering. It is fully in production for several years and is continually developed. It is Angular front end, and PHP backend, installed on AWS infrastructure.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We mainly work with a team of 3, a project manager, front end developer and back end developer. They are always under a close supervision of Nintriva owners

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The most important outcome was that we actually managed to put this product into production and it operates smoothly ever since although we keep developing it. Not always worked like this with other vendors

Their project management is very good. We always get accurate time estimates from them and they usually meet the target we set together. We are very satisfied with the open communication channel we have with them, both with the team members and the owners.

Besides their development skills, we are impressed by their commitment to the project's success and their open and sincere communication.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Each organization must and can improve. However, I cannot think of anything that would be worth mentioning
