Our Story

Nine Taps is a small, senior team, and you work directly with the people who actually design and build your site.

Between us we've built and rebuilt more than 30 sites across all sorts of industries.

We keep it simple. Most builds run in clear stages. First, we look at your current site and determine how it is used as a tool, what we want customers to do on the site, and what we want to convey as a brand. We'll do a strategy and positioning exercise with your team to align the website with your company's values and goals. We design, you review. We build, you review again. You always know where things stand, you get quick replies from a real person (not AI), and when the site is ready, we move everything over carefully and hand it to you with full access.

We keep the number deliberately small. We would rather do a few sites properly than take on more than we can look after.

The work we enjoy most is rebuilding sites for established, owner-run businesses that have outgrown what they have. Usually the business is doing well, but the site is old, slow, or no longer matches the work they do, and nobody has had the time to deal with it. We work across trades and construction, hospitality and spa, retail, and professional services, in the UK, US and Europe. The clients we are most interested in are the ones who want a long relationship rather than a one-off.

It depends on the size of the site, but we work fast without cutting corners. A small site is usually a couple of days. A full rebuild is more often a couple of weeks to a month, depending on how many pages there are and how much content needs sorting out. Whatever the size, we agree the timeline before we start and keep you posted as we go, so you are never left wondering when it will be done.
