For a number of existing, in house frameworks and also for the latest framework initially a manual test suite was developed.

This was followed by life cycle improvements from an automated test suite which cut down the development feedback loop considerably.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The devlopment cycle time for feedback was vastly reduced due to the effectiveness of the automated test suite.

In addition reliability was improved once the chance of human error was removed.

All of these contributed to succesful framework releases / game releases that were free from defects.
