Member of the S&P 500 and FT Global 500, a leading global consumer real estate services company with 5,400 employees in 2,500 locations.

For what projects/services did your company hire NGS Global?

We were looking for a Senior Vice President of Human Resources, to provide overall Human Resources leadership and support for its domestic and international operations.

How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?

Because of NGS Global's commitment to clients, candidates and the company. They are redefining the traditional search and assessment market through executive leadership solutions.

Describe the project in detail and walk through their service package.

Our team presented 12 profiles of qualified candidates with key exposure to the company, and experience working in a publicly traded parent company, of which five were shortlisted for evaluation by the client. One of the candidates was offered the position 120 days into the search. The new incumbent had 20 years of extensive professional experience and previous non-HR experience in finance, planning and operations at a global financial services provider which was highly valued by our client.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

Speed of response due to its extensive network of senior HR leaders across the industry and level of understanding of the HR function, limited client conflicts and multiple partners who carried out the engagement.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective, a close relationship was established with the candidates that required strict compliance with confidentiality agreements and the exchange of financial information.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

NGS Global was the first global search firm to link performance to our fee structure.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I'm an HR generalist at a company that provides medical services.

For what projects/services did your company hire NGS Global?

In Asia Pacific, our country leaders in Japan, China, Australia, etc. were all independently reporting to our global CEO (who is based in Germany). We felt it was time to bring on an experienced APAC leader who knows the region well and would be able to drive the growth strategy. We therefore knew we needed two centralized regional function heads – a Head of Asia and a Head of Marketing APAC.

We wanted to ensure we did our market research before making any appointment and therefore looked for expert advice from an agency that was able to provide this information.

How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?

Because of these regional knowledge gaps, we were attracted to NGS Global because they were much more than a headhunting firm. They were able to provide sound market intelligence and research-backed insights that answered our fundamental questions.

Managing Partners Lee and Julian from NGS Global undertook a detailed market scan of where the Heads of Asia of a wide range of software companies sat, what their market compensation levels were, and the operational and strategic advantages for choosing each location. They were very communicative and contactable throughout the process. They were also not interested in recommending the most expensive candidates to us, but the most suitable individuals for the role. The best possible outcome for our company was front and center of their approach.

I had an account manager who worked directly with me, but there were 3 other people working in the background

We got a leader who had already worked with our newly appointed Head of Asia (but who had appeared separately in the NGS Global research, another testament to their rigorous methodology).

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

As a result, a deep bond of trust and dependability was generated. We built up an extremely positive relationship that can only be developed over a period of time working on a complex project such as this

Their commitment was impressive.
