I’m the CFO of a full-service company that distributes and supplies packaging equipment.

What challenge were you trying to address with New View Strategies?

Our Dynamics 365 Business Central was poorly implemented by our Microsoft partner, so we hired New View Strategies to help us fix it.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

New View Strategies recommended that we work with another vendor for our Business Central and provided instructions, classes, and strategies to support that partnership. After cleaning up the system, they trained us on how to properly produce invoices, billing, and financial statements. For two years, we worked with their recommended vendor and New View Strategies themselves. 

What is the team composition?

Our main contact is Cynthia (Senior Trainer & Consultant). Throughout our partnership, they’ve introduced us to five subject matter experts and specialists as well. 

How did you come to work with New View Strategies?

I took a class from one of the people at New View Strategies, and that’s what got our partnership started. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around $80,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership began in November 2020, and we are still working with them. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since partnering with New View Strategies, our work has been significantly streamlined. Their recommended fixes have enabled us to save time and effort when it comes to certain operations and has eliminated the need for us to hire 1–2 more people for our team. Our process efficiencies have just gone way up, and we’re very satisfied with the training and support that we get from them. 

How did New View Strategies perform from a project management standpoint?

We have weekly Teams meetings where we reprioritize the work, and we use Smartsheet to track our tasks. We also communicate via phone call and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Compared to our previous consultant, New View Strategies possesses a good understanding of accounting, business, and our industry in particular. They know what our internal operations look like and can make good recommendations on how to tie these in with our technology and computer system. We like that they have the experience and knowledgeability from an accounting and operations perspective. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I’m completely happy with their work. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you need any type of help with Business Central, they’re the people to go to. They’re knowledgeable in all areas of the system and have worked on the product for a long time. They know all of its capabilities and which options you can take advantage of to grow your business.
