I’m the director of clinical operations at an EEG services company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Neuswyft Software?

We have an internal database system that we created from scratch many years ago. They were tasked with expanding the program’s capabilities to revamp the system.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They were software developers delivering changes to our developed application. We had a SQL database that they were programming on the backend. The idea was to make that database more stable and enhancing search functionality.

What is the team composition?

We worked with two people from their team. One was a project manager in the United States, and the developer was located in India.

How did you come to work with Neuswyft Software?

Based on our initial discussion with them, we were confident that they could work according to our timeline.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about $75,000 on their services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in the winter of 2018. The project ended in February 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The changes they made to the system were viable and function effectively. Their updates were also appropriate given what we were hoping for. We ultimately ended up moving in a different direction with our partnership because they weren’t always able to provide the capabilities we were looking for.

How did Neuswyft Software perform from a project management standpoint?

They were a great and approachable team with a good grasp of what we needed from them. We had some differences in our thought process, but we had a positive, collaborative engagement overall. At times, there was a lack of communication on both sides, so miscommunications can’t only be attributed to them. It was nice to have a project manager working in our time zone for communication purposes.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their project manager was very responsive, approachable, and attentive to our needs. We appreciated having in working in our time zone.

Are there any areas they could improve?

At times, we wanted more qualified people working on the development end and questioned the work we were getting for our money.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be on top of the project and deliver the specifications clearly.
