Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the marketing director for Goodwill of Colorado. We’re one of the largest, oldest, and best-known nonprofit thrift stores in the US.

What challenge were you trying to address with Neon Pig Creative?

We didn’t have subject matter expertise within the team to redesign our website, so we needed an agency to help us with that project. Our site had a corporate look, so we wanted to make it more appealing to our target audience.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Neon Pig Creative has developed our site using WordPress and HTML. We initially looked at our current website, and they assessed it. The team developed a site map to use as a roadmap for the project.

They’ve done an aesthetic refresh to make the site more engaging and community-oriented through the imagery and design features. Additionally, they’re currently doing maintenance.

What is the team composition?

We work with four team members: the two founders, a project manager, and a web developer.

Another organization referred them. We needed urgent help with the website, so I contacted another vendor we worked with and asked them to recommend someone.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’re responsive and collaborative. They’ve been a great partner; we like working with a locally-owned small business.

How did Neon Pig Creative perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been great at project management and communication. They stay on the timeline and within budget. We’ve delayed the project a bit due to competing priorities and projects, but it’s not a reflection of them. Neon Pig Creative has been very accommodating and flexible.

There were a couple of errors in some previous website drafts, so they could review things more carefully.
