eKomite was born from a research center linked to a general hospital; Our area is dedicated to keeping the processes and records of medical research. I’m dedicated to managing the research center.

For what projects/services did your company hire ADDA Development?

The development of "eKomite" our cloud platform for research ethics committees and we are currently quoting to develop the system for mobile apps. As an additional service, they redesigned the platform's logo.

What were your goals for this project?

The main objective was to develop a cloud platform which would optimize our processes, store our records and have the possibility of working remotely.

How did you select this vendor?

We were working with a software firm previously, which were very bad and were not very responsible; After searching they referred us to ADDA, we validated their experience and we also had the opportunity to evaluate the team with whom we would work. Excellent cost benefit; in addition to offering guarantees for their work.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

The project consists of developing a PHP cloud platform to take control of our processes, be able to submit documents for research documents, store records and validate information with researchers without the need for them to physically come to our center; as well as having everything with a high level of security. ADDA provided us with a team dedicated solely to our project, from a designer, programmers and a project manager who was constantly in communication with us.

What was the team composition?

A project manager, a UI / UX designer, and two PHP programmers, one senior and one middle.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our investigation committee was slow and we carried out all the processes manually. Originally the system was only for us, but when checking the effectiveness by saving enough time, doing more work with less personnel, we began to distribute it.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

They used SCRUM methodology, from the beginning, a calendar of activities was defined, and meetings every two weeks. The result was so effective that to this day we continue to develop with them.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their fast responses to our requests and the quality of their code set them apart.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Nothing that we see as something important.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We contacted Codebay and explained our problems and what we wanted to do. They explained all the subjects and how they could work with us.

They’ve done a lot of work on the website. Codebay also works on our social media, including Facebook and Instagram. The team has developed strategies to find new markets for us and grow our following.

We work with two teammates: a project manager and the person in charge of the developers.

I initially contacted them because somebody recommended them.

We pay per project.

We began working with them in January 2023, and our partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re very happy with Codebay. Working with them has been a success.

How did Codebay perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re always on time. Codebay does a great job; they explain all our doubts. Sometimes we have many questions, but they’re patient. Also, I can call them or send them an email at any time of the day. Everything is great.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re very punctual; I still can’t believe it. When they say something will be ready on a particular day, they’re very concerned about delivering. Overall, I can only say good things about them. We’ve had a good experience.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, their work is great.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend them to other friends and restaurants because they can help in Spanish and English.

Codebay has made it easy to find highly skilled developers, saving us a lot of time and effort, allowing us to focus on other important areas.

Everything has been very efficient, every month we have a monthly meeting for feedback from the teams, with this we have been able to identify several problems and we have avoided several incidents.

We're impressed with how they quickly respond to issues.

That the English courses of the developers be more intensive, some still have some difficulties to communicate.

Codebay helped us implement an inventory control tool, in addition to making special configurations for us. They also helped us configure other company systems.

I had already worked with them a few years ago on another project.

In the first prject we needed a tool to control our inventories since previously we had it in excel, Codebay implemented a system where the different employees could see the stocks and request orders in real time.

Yes, basically the inventory mess and lack of knowledge is in the past. With this new systems is possible to view our catalogs from anywhere without generating conflict.

The ease of speech and the ease to understand the needs. They listen to you.

I had already worked with them in another company, with great results.

Initially we create an MVP with WooCommerce to validate our project, now after all the testing, we are developing a more stable website, using Magento.

We love the design, and now we are preparing the new website. We validate our idea and have a lot of expectations.

We have liked working with them. They are very professional at what they do. Communication has been fluid.

They have adapted to our company and are easy people to get along with. The platform they created has been very useful.

I previously knew a member of his management team, so when looking for suppliers, they were given the opportunity to present us with a proposal. Eventually it was the one that convinced us the most due to the trust generated and experience.

Originally the project lasted 6 months, but due to new functionalities and adjustments in the original prototype it was extended.

Every week we had previews, which helped us validate features and make changes to the system before its release. We managed to improve the delivery of documents to our clients and generate a repository.

They are very flexible in terms of changes, the working model is very effective.
