Our aim was to develop a one of a kind streaming app powered by web3  that would place the viewer first. The Myco app would not only become a major streaming economy stakeholder but also share revenue with viewers as they expereinced our content. As viewers would be the one creating value for the platform it was essential to build a product that would create a 360 value chain with content creators, viewers, and the Myco team all benefitting from the outcome.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

MyTeams has been instrumental in building and scaling Myco.io from the ground up. They handled everything ....from developing the app and ensuring seamless maintenance to executing effective marketing strategies and supporting our fundraising efforts. Their dedication extended to QA, technical improvements, and brand management, ensuring the platform's growth and stability. The project was originanlly scheduled with 9 milestones to be delivered over 8 months. MyTeams diligent worked to complete each milestone on or before every deadline, with project updates every 14 days.  

Thanks to their efforts, Myco.io has achieved milestones remarkably including a current valuation of $80 million after 3 years of flawless operation, 15 million users over 4 successful years, and 188 million views. We've also experienced rapid growth with 5 million returning users, an impressive 33-minute average engagement time for our content and strong ad performance delivering over 455 million impressions for our every growing content library. 

MyTeams' holistic approach and technical expertise were key to our success, and the fouding team is delighted with their contributions.

MyTeams demonstrated exceptional project management throughout our collaboration. They maintained clear communication, set realistic timelines, and consistently delivered milestones on schedule. Their proactive approach ensured that potential roadblocks were identified and resolved quickly, keeping the project on track. 

Their ability to corordinate withour team and other stakeholders with respect to risk management and budget estimates was prolific. MyTeams was exceptional in handling budget escalations, and never seemed to miss the bullseye interms of changing requirements and evolving needs of our app. There were weekly scrum meetings that both delivered the milestones achieved and the next phase of the deliverables in line with the provided schedule.  

What stood out most was their adaptability, whether it was adding new features, addressing urgent technical issues, or continuously supporting our marketing campaigns, MyTeams was always responsive and solution-oriented. Their ability to understand our evolving needs and align their efforts accordingly have played a crucial role in Myco.io’s growth and success. Dedicated 24 hour DevOps engineers and support executives were specifically assigned to our project with an estimated response time of 30 minutes for every query.

Their ability to seamlessly manage both the technical and branding aspects of Myco app truly set them apart. We never had to reach out to them first, the project manager was highly proactive keeping us engaged and informed daily through email updates. 

Their deep understanding of Myco's vision and dilligent mindset ensured they consistently delivered milestones that aligned with our vision. Are there any areas for improvement or something MyTeams could have done differently?

MyTeams excelled in developing and scaling the Myco superapp, one area for improvement though would be expanding their services to include TV app development. As a streaming platform, having a presence on smart TVs and other large-screen devices is crucial, and this was something they couldn't provide at the time. We were delighted by the speed of service on most deliverables, but a few were delayed due to resource constraints at that time, hosting more resources for large scale projects should be addressed post-development. 

If they were to add TV app development to their portfolio, it would be a significant advantage for companies looking to build comprehensive streaming solutions. Given their technical expertise and commitment to growth, I believe this addition would make them an even stronger partner in the industry.

The project resulted in a finished app prototype that clearly shows how the app works and how users move through it. My idea was turned into something real and easy to understand, giving me a clear path for future development. The team stayed on budget, made changes quickly, and delivered what was promised, showing strong progress and a successful result.

What impressed me most was how stress relieving the experience was. I had tried to develop this on my own and struggled to the point of almost giving up, but working with them took that stress away completely. They made the process feel manageable, handled the hard parts with confidence, and gave me peace of mind knowing my project was in good hands.

Are there any areas for improvement or something MyTeams could have done differently?

I don’t have any areas for improvement to note. The team was great to work with, met expectations throughout the project, and delivered exactly what I needed.
