BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I work in a Jewish historical institute in Warsaw. We’re a cultural institution with the mission of reaching people interested in Jewish history and culture. I’m responsible for our online library, where users can see digitized documents and pieces of art from our institute. We also provide educational materials for teachers and anyone interested around the world.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Mysza Software?

We hired them to create an application that would house and display all the digital documents and pieces of art in our institute.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mysza Software is developing an Android- and iOS-compatible app. We have a web app as well, which was developed by another provider, and we wanted the mobile apps to share most of the same features, including an online educational workshop.

They had to work with our main IT developer extensively to provide a technical solution. They proposed a few solutions, and our institute chose the one we liked the most.

What is the team composition?

There were six people from Mysza involved. We met with the project manager, developers, and graphic designers in the beginning, to discuss the first steps. We often dealt directly with the developers.

How did you come to work with Mysza Software?

A few years ago, before I was working for the institute, Mysza actually developed a smaller version of the app for us. The team was available when we wanted to work with them again.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started this project in September 2019, and the project is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The app is completed, but we’re still running tests and it won’t launch for a few more months. However, as of now, the application is exactly how we wanted it. The visual part is very nice, and it’s easy to navigate. We really like it.

How did Mysza Software perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very available, met all deadlines, and they’re a very friendly group to work with. We could always ask them for help, clarifications, or suggestions. They proposed solutions to us, and they’re easy people to communicate with.

Mysza provided us with a communication tool and ticketing system that allowed us to ask questions and report any malfunctions while testing the application. We could use it to track what had been done, what was in progress, and what was urgent or nonurgent. They address all the issues. We also talk over the phone and email, and Mysza comes to our office for meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their flexibility stands out.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, everything has gone well so far. I can’t complain.
