For what projects/services did your company hire Mypromovideos?

Ours is a one-of-its-kind offering in the fintech space to bring financial planning and wealth management to the masses. However, given the poor financial literacy in our country, it's a challenge to explain the product's benefit to everyone. Our explainer video had to do this enviable task.

How did you select Mypromovideos?

I came across them during my search to find the perfect partner to help me achieve this explainer video goal. I saw their work and their capabilities gave me the confidence in exploring the project further with them. And from my first interaction with them, I gained confidence that they were the right choice.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

The project's scope involved understanding the importance of striking a fine balance between communicating a product's end benefit, its comparative superiority over others, and doing all of this most simply and engagingly. While a storyboard existed beforehand, the task involved taking a leap further in execution to bring inspiration and clarity of message.

What was the team composition?

The team comprised of the creative team - including the animator and the creative director, the account management team playing an important role in connecting the client with the creatives, and also the CEO in keeping track of the overall project parameters.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I've been thoroughly impressed and happy with the outcome. The vision that I initially had in what the explainer video needed to communicate, I'm more than happy that it has been achieved. I feel a lot more confident going into the market, armed with the final video.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was smooth sailing all along. Each conversation took the project forward effectively, improving the quality of the product. The communication was very well managed, everything clearly documented and communicated. It was a very easy experience regarding the workflow.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their work ethic in the workflow was exemplary. They are always willing to take feedback constructively, they have constantly evolved the final product, keeping a great balance of client requirements and pushing the creative bar.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

As far as this project is concerned....none. Very satisfied.

For what projects/services did your company hire Mypromovideos?

We needed an explainer video for both our end customers, and investors.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to have a clear, concise, and effective animated video to explain our product, in under 90 seconds.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I read a blog they had written online, and really liked the content. I then went to their website, and reviewed their portfolio. Finally I filled out a form, and they contacted me.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.

This was one of the smoothest processes I have ever been through with a vendor. They use Basecamp for every step of the project, and communication was very fluid. I am based in Canada, so whenever I replied with required approvals or changes, in the morning they were completed.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

Their process consists of a script, a storyboard, then a draft video, then the finalized product. All extremely well organized. There was never a single day when I was wondering what was happening on their end.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The video is amazing. Super high quality, exactly what I needed.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Seamless. No other way to put it.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They are a one-stop-shop for an animated video: headache-free. You tell them what you want, and they will write the script, provide all the art and animation, music, and voice over talent.  Their process is good as well, very well organized.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Production time could be slightly quicker, but you can't rush perfection ;).
