MyIT has helped us purchase and update equipment, give yearly budget recommendations for upgrades/replacements, worked with outside vendors on our behalf and provided continual IT help desk services.

Our IT service issues are non-issues now.  We were constantly having network and internet issues which was causing other problems on our campus.  When we have an issues things are resolved in a reasonable time frame with care and complete communication.

They deliver on time, if there is a delay or potential delay we are notified.  Our needs have always been met.

Our issues may be small to them but they are big to us.  myIT.com understands our issues and treats us accordingly, no matter the issue.  I have not met or worked with a rude person involved with the company.

Their porject managment is excellent. They provide timely support and critical feedback when things have to pivot with a changing environment. They are very responsive to our needs.

myIT did a complete overhaul of our IT/security/devices. We switched IT companies and myIT made the transition as painless as possible and got our services secured and up to date.

Revamped our entire IT systems (computers, phones, cloud storage, backup services, etc).

The entire team is wonderful. They respond quickly, act fast when issues arrives and stay in front of issues we have that we aren't even aware of. They make IT services painless for our entire team.

They stay up to date and commincate with us on issues we don't see. Our previous IT company was great, but issues were only dealt with after there was a problem for us. MyIT is the opposite - they are very involved in the backend and look after our services to make sure we are handled prior to having an issue as best as they can.

I’m the contracts manager for a traffic signal construction company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with myIT.com?

We were replacing a long-standing third-party IT service provider that we had employed for over a decade. We were exploring other options due to service issues we were experiencing with that company, and we needed to find a more reliable provider.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

myIT.com is our managed IT service provider. When they joined, they helped us with the migration process out of our previous provider, and they also moved some of our information to the cloud.

myIT.com’s services have been both on-site and off-site. We usually initiate tickets remotely, and a lot of the tickets are handled remotely, but they come to support us in person when needed. For example, they did cataloging and inventorying on-site after the migration.

What is the team composition?

I’ve worked with around six people from myIT.com, including Greg (Founder & President), Bryan (Technical Account Manager), who is also our main point of contact, Jeffrey (Director of Business Development), and 4–5 different technicians.

How did you come to work with myIT.com?

Originally, we received an email from them. Then, we started our initial discussions and had a few meetings with them, during which they asked us questions to figure out what we needed. The third time we met with them, they provided us with pricing, which our upper management reviewed.

myIT.com’s pricing was in line with what we were paying before, but the plan they presented to us made us feel comfortable with switching to them. They were also very proactive in their approach, so we decided to hire them and replace our previous provider.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve spent around $12,000–$15,000, which averages about $2,000 per month.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around mid-February 2022, and our engagement is ongoing. We have a yearly contract signed with them, and we plan to continue working with them, so we will certainly renew the contract next year.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Overall, I really enjoy myIT.com’s service, and they’re very easy to work with. They’re very personable and friendly, so I highly recommend them.

How did myIT.com perform from a project management standpoint?

myIT.com’s account representative frequently communicates with us, and it is very easy to talk to him. I’m always able to bounce ideas off of him, and he always tells me the best way to go.

As for communication, myIT.com checks in once per month, and we have quarterly meetings established. They also have an email address that creates tickets in their system when I request their service. We mainly use email and phone calls to communicate, and we initially used Zoom for our meetings, but I assume we will move to in-person meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

myIT.com is very flexible, and I can easily get a hold of them, which is great.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. myIT.com is always on top of ensuring that their people follow through. One time, it took them an extra day to respond, but I just let them know and didn’t give them negative feedback.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

myIT.com is more geared towards small and mid-sized businesses, so if you are an extremely large company, you might have to evaluate if they can handle the contract.
