We hire Musemind to design the UX and UI of our SaaS platform from scratch.

How did you select this vendor?

We came across Musemind's portfolio on Dribbble and we were very impressed by their designs and case studies.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We started with an initial Zoom call with Musemind CEO, in which we provided our roadmap and sketched out the initial user requirements. Afterward, we were allocated a project manager and a full-time UX/UI designer, who worked closely with us to design different screens for our app.

There are multiple stages in the design process, including conducting UX research, creating a mood board, creating the user flows, designing the low-fidelity (lo-fi) screens, and finally delivering the high-fidelity designs. Later, an animator also joined the project to help animate the final Figma prototypes.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We work with a project manager, a UI designer, and an animator.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project is still ongoing, but so far, the main screens that Musemind delivered already look really good with intuitive UX and clean UI.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager was very responsive. We talk regularly via Slack and have weekly meetings. The designer posts a daily standup to keep us up to date on what is currently being worked on.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We really love the UI ideas that the Musemind team came up with. All of the designs look very clean and modern.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The UX research stage took a bit longer than we expected. One suggestion to improve is to ask the client more probing questions during this stage to gain a better understanding of the business requirements.
