Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the Head of Sales and Marketing for The Barrel Mill. We manufacture premium oak barrels, the infusion spirals for the craft spirits and wine industries, and manufacture specialty display items for the beverage industry.

What challenge were you trying to address with Moxie Creative?

We needed a full overhaul of our website and marketing materials.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Moxie Creative has developed a new website with an e-commerce store. They’ve also created marketing materials such as spec sheets and leave-behinds. In addition, they’ve produced videos and pictures and created monthly email and social media campaigns. Through my guidance on what we wanted the end result to be, they’ve handled almost all aspects of the project themselves.

What is the team composition?

We work with 2–5 teammates from Moxie Creative.

How did you come to work with Moxie Creative?

We found them through a referral. We chose them over other options because they were close to our geographic location, their pricing fit our budget, they were a great culture fit, they offered good value for the cost, and their company values aligned with ours.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in March 2023, and the engagement is ongoing. They continue to be our marketing partner.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Before working with Moxie Creative, we didn’t offer products for sale online. Currently, we’re selling approximately $25,000–$30,000 online each month. In addition, our brand is now known, cohesive, and has an updated look and feel. We’ve seen these results through internal feedback, observations, and comments made by our customers.

How did Moxie Creative perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate via in-person meetings, virtual meetings, and emails or messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Moxie Creative’s values of being a small family business and taking care of customers have aligned with ours.
