Please describe your company and your position there.

I run a financial advisory firm helping regular people with their finances whether they want to save for retirement, invest or put money away for the children.

For what projects/services did your company hire Mountain Visuals, and what were your goals?

We were looking for a way to help our potential customers understand who I was and how I can help them. I wanted a video that not only told people what I do but also told my story.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I wanted to find a production company that did more than just show up and film, Brian from Mountain Visuals took the time to understand me and my business needs. He cared about seeing us succeed which helped him stand out from just a videographer.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.

We started with a discovery meeting where Brian took the time to understand my business and needs, he asked the right questions and even dug deeper on certain answers. From there we came up with an outline for my video. It was not scripted word for word as I wanted it sound natural which Brian was on board with. Once the general outline of the video was decided we started filming. The process was smooth and easy and Brian really made me feel comfortable being on camera. Once filming was done the team at Mountain Visuals did their magic and put together a nice edit for me.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

I mostly only interacted with Brian as he was the one on the discovery call and the one who did the filming. He was great to work with and really was patient with me as I was not very comfortable on camera at first.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I have had a few new clients tell me they loved the video and that is the reason they called me in the first place. It helped them connect with me and made them feel like the had some trust in me before ever meeting them.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Brian was great to communicate with, he broke down the different steps and we were able to figure out a filming date that worked for both of us. From there the edit was done within the week and even minor changes were done quite promptly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I just loved that they took the time to really understand me and my business and helped me craft an amazing message for me to share to my audience and clients.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Having a little more time to practice or get comfortable on camera would have been nice but I also was nervous as this is the first video I have done for my business.
