Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
Rodriguez Enterprise LLC hired Mortske Media for approximately three months to manage Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns focused on generating qualified junk removal and hauling leads in the Phoenix Metro area. The project included social media advertising strategy, campaign setup and management, development and deployment of advertising creatives, lead generation through online forms, campaign optimization, and lead tracking and performance reporting. The primary objective was to generate qualified residential and commercial junk removal inquiries that would convert into booked jobs and measurable revenue. The expected deliverables were consistent, qualified leads, effective advertising campaigns, ongoing optimization, transparent performance reporting, and a positive return on advertising investment.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
None
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Project management and overall execution were disappointing. Although Mortske Media provided advertising campaigns and lead tracking, the results did not demonstrate the level of management, optimization, and accountability I expected for the amount of money invested. Over approximately three months, I received 76 leads, but only 9 converted into closed jobs. The performance report also showed zero booked appointments and multiple leads requiring repeated follow-up attempts, including some that remained pending for extended periods. I expected more proactive campaign management, better lead quality, timely adjustments based on performance, and a clear strategy for improving results. I also expected the company to respond to concerns with meaningful solutions rather than simply continuing an approach that was not producing a reasonable return. Ultimately, I did not feel the project management and advertising performance justified the fees being charged. After investing more than $10,200 between advertising and agency fees, I decided that continuing the relationship was no longer financially sustainable for my business.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What stood out most was the company’s ability to present its services and advertising performance through lead tracking, campaign reporting, and social media advertising. They had a structured process for generating and monitoring inquiries. Unfortunately, the reporting and number of leads generated did not translate into the qualified customers or revenue my business needed. While the marketing activity was measurable, the actual business results were disappointing. While Mortske Media provided social media advertising campaigns, advertising creatives, lead generation, and performance tracking, the actual results fell significantly short of what my business needed. Over approximately three months, the campaigns generated 76 leads, but only 9 resulted in closed jobs. The total collected revenue was just $4,020, compared with more than $10,200 invested in advertising and agency fees. I also had concerns about the quality of the leads, including incorrect or disconnected phone numbers, people denying they submitted inquiries, and prospects who were not genuinely interested in purchasing services. I expected a higher standard of campaign management, better-qualified inquiries, consistent optimization, and deliverables that translated into actual paying customers. Ultimately, the services provided did not deliver sufficient business value or a reasonable return on investment.
While advertising campaigns and lead tracking were provided, I expected more consistent proactive management, timely campaign adjustments, and faster responses to performance issues. Over approximately three months, I invested more than $10,200 between advertising spend and agency fees. Despite that investment, the campaigns generated 76 leads, only 9 closed jobs, and $4,020 in collected revenue. I needed a marketing partner that would recognize underperforming campaigns early, make timely improvements, and communicate a clear plan to get results. Unfortunately, the overall performance did not meet my expectations or justify the continued investment. I invested over $6,000 in agency fees in addition to $4,206 in advertising costs, bringing my total marketing investment to more than $10,200 over approximately three months. According to the performance report, those campaigns generated 76 leads, resulting in only 9 closed jobs and $4,020 in collected revenue. That means I spent more than $10,200 to generate less than half that amount in revenue, before even accounting for payroll, fuel, disposal fees, insurance, and other operating expenses. My total marketing investment exceeded $1,134 per closed customer, while the average revenue collected per job was approximately $447. I simply did not receive the value I expected for the money I paid. I understand that marketing requires investment, but the agency fees and advertising costs should produce measurable business growth and a reasonable opportunity for profitability. Unfortunately, the financial results were unsustainable. I exhausted my avail. I invested over $10,200 in agency fees and advertising over approximately three months, but generated only 9 closed jobs and $4,020 in collected revenue. I gave the company an opportunity to deliver, but the financial results did not justify the investment. As a business owner, I need marketing partners who prioritize qualified leads, accountability, measurable results, and a reasonable return on investment. Unfortunately, I cannot confidently refer another business owner to a company when my own experience resulted in such a significant financial shortfall. After approximately three months and more than $10,200 invested in agency fees and advertising, I received 76 leads, closed only 9 jobs, and collected just $4,020 in revenue. I gave the company time and an opportunity to deliver results, but the quality of leads, campaign performance, and overall return on investment did not justify the expense. As a small business owner, I cannot continue spending money on marketing that does not produce profitable results. I ultimately exhausted my available resources and made the decision to discontinue their services. Based on my experience, I would not hire Mortske Media again or recommend their services to other business owners.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Mortske Media could have done differently?
There were several areas where Mortske Media could have improved. First, lead quality needed significant improvement. Generating 76 inquiries over approximately three months is not enough if a substantial number are unqualified, have incorrect or disconnected phone numbers, deny submitting an inquiry, or are not genuinely interested in hiring a junk removal company. Second, I expected more effective campaign optimization. With $4,206 in advertising spend, campaigns should have been continually evaluated and adjusted to improve lead quality, conversion rates, and overall return on investment. Third, I would have liked to see a stronger focus on actual business results rather than simply the number of leads generated. The goal should have been qualified estimates, booked jobs, completed services, and collected revenue. Finally, communication, accountability, and a clear improvement strategy were important areas where I expected more. After investing over $10,200 in advertising and agency fees, I needed a marketing partner who could demonstrate measurable progress and explain how the campaigns would become profitable. The final results were only 9 closed jobs and $4,020 in collected revenue. Better lead qualification, more proactive campaign management, stronger optimization, and a results-driven strategy could have made a significant difference. Ultimately, I believe Mortske Media needed to focus less on generating inquiries and more on generating actual paying customers for my business.
