They need the capacity, relationships, and systems to carry them forward. Rooted in Indigenous perspectives and guided by integrity, collaboration, and long-term thinking, MCP works alongside clients to strengthen decisions, turn priorities into action, and build lasting organizational capacity.

MCP begins with a discovery conversation to understand the client's organization, priorities, challenges, and desired outcomes. We take time to understand the operating environment, existing resources, decision-making processes, and people who need to be involved. From there, we identify the most appropriate services, define the proposed scope of work, and develop a clear proposal outlining deliverables, timelines, responsibilities, and fees. Once an agreement is established, we work with the client to confirm expectations, communication practices, milestones, and project responsibilities. Our goal is to establish a practical, collaborative working relationship built on clarity, accountability, and mutual understanding from the beginning.

MCP works with First Nations governments, Indigenous businesses, economic development organizations, nonprofit organizations, municipalities, public institutions, and other partners. MCP organizes its services around three interconnected pathways. **Vision & Strategy:** Strategic planning, organizational development, governance advisory, opportunity assessment, and economic and community development planning. **Implementation & Delivery:** Project and program management, implementation planning, operational improvement, process development, and organizational capacity building. **Community & Relationships:** Indigenous and stakeholder engagement, community consultation, partnership development, facilitation, and collaborative planning. Services can be delivered individually or combined depending on the client's needs. Our approach connects organizational direction with practical implementation and the people responsible for moving the work forward.

MCP recognizes that meaningful engagement begins with understanding the people, relationships, histories, and decision-making structures involved. As an Indigenous-owned consulting practice, we approach engagement with respect for community priorities, local knowledge, governance processes, and the importance of building trust. Our work emphasizes early involvement, accessible communication, transparency, and opportunities for meaningful participation. We do not believe engagement should simply be a requirement to complete. It should help inform decisions, strengthen relationships, and create a clearer understanding of shared priorities.
