I’m the CEO of a consumer packaged goods company. We sell various goods and apparel online.

What challenge were you trying to address with MNP?

We needed help with accounting.

What was the scope of their involvement?

MNP helps us with various areas of accounting. They’ve helped us abide by tax laws in Canada and the US, conduct mergers and acquisitions, and so on.

What is the team composition?

We work with 2–4 teammates in Canada and another 2–4 teammates in the US. Each of the teams consists of a lead accountant and a few junior accountants.

How did you come to work with MNP?

MNP was a local firm, and I heard lots of good things about them from several people.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $50,000–$75,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement started in January 2018, and it’s ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

MNP’s work has been very beneficial to us, especially regarding US tax laws. They have the knowledge we need to grow our operations. Overall, the team provides a lot of valuable insight and feedback.

How did MNP perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve done an outstanding job. We usually communicate through email, phone calls, and in-person meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re a strong team with a lot of experience — their depth of knowledge has been incredible. Working with a multidisciplinary firm has been really valuable to us. Overall, it’s been a great experience.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing they could do better.
