Appraiser's use a number of tools when developing estimates of value. Among those are creating a sketch, cataloging the salient features, developing neighborhood information, and performing a comparative sales analysis. Much of the information is extremly valuable to other appraisers/ real estate professionals, insurance companies, mortgage companies and others.

However, appraisals are written specifically for a named client and stated purpose. Gathering the sharable information is not possible on a mass scale,

I requested that Mindrally create a tool that could pull out the data from an appraisal report and fashion it into re-marketable format.

1) The first measurable outcome was the successful creation of a web application tool which stripped re-marketable data from old appraisal reports.

I was very impressed with the Mindrally team's determination, creativity and attention to detail.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Mindrally could have done differently?

The biggest weakness is forcasting costs. At the outset, a projected cost of $50,000 was forcasted. I'm experienced in projects and, while I was hopeful, I was expecting the price to be more. However, as we progressed, the cost expanded far beyond even my projections.
