We needed a computer program to aid with the residents’ petty cash and expenses. However, there was nothing on the market that allowed us to use it in one facility, so we decided to get it done.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We initially contacted Mind IT Systems with an idea in our head. We explained to them what we were looking for, an easy-to-use system that would allow us to manage all of our residents’ pocket money. Then, they came back with their idea, which was exactly what we’d visualized.

Mind IT Systems developed the web application and did the design. It was a standalone program with its own login detail. Basically, it was an improved version of a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet — they made it simple for us.

Additionally, they didn’t push their services or constantly tried to get more money out of us. However, we have other projects moving forward, and we’ll go straight back to them.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with four people — there’s someone involved in the invoicing and costs, a project manager, and two designers.

How did you come to work with Mind IT Systems?

When we first looked at this, we had a business intern from India. When I asked him to get some quotes on the project, he contacted people in India. He searched on Google and sent messages to probably half a dozen companies, and Mind IT Systems came across as the most professional.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent £5,000 (approximately $7,000 USD). We’ve got ongoing monthly costs, but Mind IT Systems’ work is all paid and finished.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in July 2021, and our relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve tried the platform on our care homes over the last month. We found a couple of things that could’ve been improved, so we went back to Mind IT Systems, and they did it. Overall, the feedback from our team has been phenomenal.

Moreover, we’re 100% satisfied with their work. It’s exactly what we were looking for. Also, they’ve been outstanding with the response time. They’ve set up a WhatsApp group with everybody involved so it doesn’t matter what time of day it is. In the beginning, we messaged them if there was an issue, and the longest it took them to respond was one hour.

How did Mind IT Systems perform from a project management standpoint?

When we ask them to do something, they break it down and give us a timeframe for every element. Their team always hits that time frame, and they follow it with an email to say it’s completed. In general, they’re banging on time. If they say it’ll be done by February 1st at 1:00 o’clock, it’s done at 1:00 o’clock.

Since we’re a small team, we’ve only needed WhatsApp to communicate. If we want something new, we organize a Zoom call to speak face to face, but WhatsApp has worked wonderfully for us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

First, their ability to understand our concept when it was just in our head was outstanding. We just told them a story of our vision, and they completely understood it. We didn’t send any documents, pictures, or anything, so it was pretty strange.

Secondly, we’re really impressed with their communication. We were concerned that the time difference would cause issues, but it has been fantastic.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything. I’d recommend them to everybody in the UK.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be completely transparent with them. Don’t be afraid to go to them with the idea in your head; they’re excellent at developing that. Just go to them with a concept, and they’ll work with you to make it happen.

We are Diversified Transportation Services, a third-party transportation provider that acts as a middle-man between our clients, who ship goods, and carriers.

I’m a software project manager, meaning I work with developers and our team on what enhancements we want in the software.

We have a proprietary, ASP.NET software program in-house that we needed to add features to and fix bugs on.

What was the scope of their involvement?

At the outset, I provided our requirements and Mind IT Systems offered a number of developers for us to talk to. After speaking to 2–3, we made our selection.

Most changes have delivered small improvements in the user experience. For example, Mind IT system’s assigned developer fixed a bug on our instant quote screen. These fixes may be small on the frontend but require significant backend work. Additionally, Mind IT has made changes that make using the platform easier for our own employees. Cybersecurity and password requirement improvements have also been done.

Lalit (Chief Sales Office) is my main point of contact, as well as our assigned developer.

How did you come to work with Mind IT Systems?

We were looking to outsource our development to save on the cost, so I did a Google search for a few top companies. After sending a contact form into Mind IT Systems, Lalit reached out to me and immediately set up interviews with a few developer options.

We’ve spent around $20,000 to date with Mind IT Systems. Our cost is around $4,000 per month.

We’ve been working together since August 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We were extremely happy with Mind IT Systems’ onboarding time. They came out swinging right off the bat, which set them apart from the other firms I’d reached out to. Lalit did an incredible job of coordinating schedules to ensure the developer interviews happened as quickly as possible.

Our assigned developer has exceeded expectations. We weren’t sure what we were going to get at the start, but it’s been great. We started by giving our developer small projects initially to get their feet wet, but they’ve performed well and we’re moving to bigger asks. I can’t speak highly enough of them.

How did Mind IT Systems perform from a project management standpoint?

I have a task board for them, and we meet twice a week to discuss progress. They’re great about meeting during my morning and their night.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their overall organization stands out, as they excel at reaching out quickly, setting everything up, and onboarding. The quality of their of employees and resources is top-notch.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything off the top of my head, so I’m pretty happy. I’m sure there are small requests, but nothing else.

Give clear guidelines, as this will make it easier for them to give you what you’re looking for. Naming exact skills will make this even easier.

We had developed software with another provider but we were not at all satisfied with the services that they were providing. We hired Mind IT to take over the development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mind IT provides ASP.NET web development services for us, overseeing the rapid code support for a product that we’ve built on using Microsoft, HTML, JavaScript, and SQL. We also look to them for database management.

What is the team composition?

We hired two developers from their agency and they work directly with us. They kind of plug into our organization and are both on a senior level as experienced application developers.

How did you come to work with Mind IT Systems?

Our CTO who is based in Delhi was the one who found them. He interviewed a variety of firms to provide application development services for us, and, of them all, liked Mind IT best and decided to hire them.

We've invested around $80,000–$100,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership began in November 2020 and it is an ongoing project.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Prior to our involvement with Mind IT, there were a high number of bugs in our code that we were receiving during the user acceptance test. Working with Mind IT, we’ve found that, first of all, they’ve substantially improved the stability of our code by about 90%. They've been able to do that in the first three months of the project, and since then, the team has been delivering code that only has 10%–20% of the number of bugs that we encountered with our previous provider. 

How did Mind IT Systems perform from a project management standpoint?

The good from a project management standpoint. We like that we can work directly with the developers, who are great at reporting their tasks and checking in on customer satisfaction on a regular basis.

We work in an agile method and Mind IT has been very responsive and flexible with it, which is what we need. The developers also work within our Microsoft Visual Studio and Azure Visual Studio setups. We communicate with them using a Teams-type product, Zoom, and email. The team participates in our daily stand-ups and can readily accommodate us if we need to speak with them in the morning or in the evening. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their services are very satisfactory compared to that of the other providers that we’ve worked with in the past. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't say anything that I haven't already told them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It would depend on the type of contract that you plan to set up with Mind IT, but, as always, thoroughly interview the people that you're going to work with. Have them tell you about their experiences in taking and learning code.

You can always get really great developers,  but if you share a situation where you want Mind IT to. take over something that has already been developed, it's important to know their skill and capacity.

The site hasn't launched yet but it was built well to my specifications within a quick timeframe.

They were able to solve problems quickly and also offer their own in put when they believed that things could be improved (e.g the design/ color of the website).

To offer help from more members of their team to get different ideas/ perspectives.

We have a daily standup where we monitor our progress. We are responsible for the quality of the deliverables as a team. Since we interviewed and hired them to augment our team, it’s our responsibility to drive the quality out of the resources. The overall quality has been satisfactory. They’ve been able to learn the environment and be a part of it. They deliver value.

They’ve been very prompt in our requests. The communication has been good over email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They come from a large e-commerce company in India, so they understand what a project like this takes. When we give them a requirement, they understand. We don’t have to explain everything to them. They’re also quite flexible with terms and conditions.

They could provide better resources for a lesser rate.

Any company looking to get better control of their resources and more visibility into the pipeline should engage Mind IT. They value each and every customer. If you’re in the fintech domain, they have good expertise in that vertical.

I'm the CIO for India Shelter Finance Corporation. Providing mortgage and home loans, we're regulated by the National Housing Bank, which is a subsidiary of the Regional Bank of India. Our loans are called affordable housing loans.

We needed help with mobile app development for our organization.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They have been developing mobile applications for us. One app is for technical evaluation. Whenever we give a loan to a new customer, we have to evaluate the candidate. Our team used to do it on a piece of paper only to put those values into our system later. Mind IT has developed a mobile app that streamlines that process. It's integrated with our Salesforce CRM system.

They're now working on a customer onboarding portal. With it, customers can come to our website and apply for the loan online through a form. They can fill in their entire application and upload all the required documents. We can then underwrite those documents and process the loan faster.

We work with the CTO, an account manager, and a team lead, as well as a UI/UX designer. I have also interacted with one person from the sales team.

They got in touch with me through an email. I liked their portfolio and site, so we gave them a test project. For that process automation, we gave them a task which was to be done in three days. They were able to deliver within three days, and we were happy with the service. We started giving them more contracts.

The quality of service is good. They spent a lot of time on requirement gathering, which was very important to their success. They're a technical team that has the skills and resources to modernize systems. Everything is good, and they retain their people.

I communicate with them at least once each week through an update call. My team members talk to them almost daily. We use Google Meet and Zoom to communicate. Mind IT largely delivers on time, even if things get complicated on our end.

Their technical expertise is very impressive. So far, I have not come across a challenge they couldn't resolve.

I’m the CEO of a financial software development company. We primarily serve the public sector in our development. We’re a small business with a five-person team.

What challenge were you trying to address with Mind IT Systems?

We enlisted their help in developing a mobile app that serves the subsidized housing sector in Ireland. Local governments own and rent out houses, which are inspected before being leased to low-income residents.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mind IT Systems is developing an Android app that facilitates the house inspection process. Inspectors can use the app to log areas of damage. That information is then sent to a contractor who’s responsible for the necessary repair work. The app interacts with the user’s environment through a 360-degree camera.

The app has a .NET web component. The web application allows for the local authorities to manage and allocate the tasks native to the inspection and repairs process. It’s connected to a portal where contractors can provide quotes for their services.

Mind IT Systems provided us with wireframes before launching into development.

What is the team composition?

We’re working with a designer, a .NET developer, and a dedicated Android developer. While we were also assigned a project manager, we’ve been communicating primarily through the lead developer.

Essentially, we were looking for staff augmentation. We had a lot of projects and needed support in completing various tasks for our third-party clients.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They assisted in project management, specifically in projects that called for high levels of organization. Their team also provided technical expertise in both web and mobile development. Even though they were unfamiliar with some of the third-party tools being used, they were quick to get acclimated. All the work was done remotely.

We brought in a part-time project manager and three developers.

We looked at a number of agencies. Historically, we’ve worked with various consulting agencies, both locally and internationally. As a result, we had a thorough vetting process and was particularly looking for expertise in HTML Template Language (HTL).

Within the first five minutes of discussing our challenges and goals with them, I knew that they were exactly the right fit for us. It was a unanimous internal vote that led us to work with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Customer feedback has been very positive. They’ve never missed a deadline and have always delivered within budget.

Their management is exceptionally structured. There is a solid collaboration between their project manager and the main architect, both of whom are very well-rounded. I get the sense that the high-level partners had robust experience in both the technology and their industry. The developers, too, are extremely proficient.

It's important for me to feel that I could rely on a vendor long-term, instead of getting another consultant every time I have a new project. They deliver that sense of security and retention.

How did Mind IT Systems perform from a project management standpoint?

I think we can attribute the success of their work to the mindset of the management team. The project manager, in particular, is just stellar. That PM doubles as a UX/UI quality assurance, which has been awesome.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re practiced, practical, and pragmatic. They don’t ask questions twice; the phenomenal level of their organization ensures that.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not really. They rise to the challenge every time. In regards to room for growth, it’d be great to explore those areas together as we take on new projects.

Get in front of the roadmap. If you want meaningful success, build your backlog out quickly, because they’ll hammer down on it. They will execute and deliver.

I’m the director of Clean Water Generator Pvt. Ltd., a water purification firm.

What challenge were you trying to address with Mind IT Systems?

It was a challenge for me to manage all the leads, all the customers’ information, all the quotations, etc. I was trying to do some of it with Excel sheets, but it was becoming complicated. We decided to have a CRM developed and needed help with it.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They custom-built my CRM. It helps me manage my prospects all the way down the sales funnel, allowing us to create marketing campaigns. When we’re dealing with customers, we often have to generate quotes that may or may not convert to orders. I can manage those in the CRM. For fulfilled orders, we do invoices.

We're also able to manage order servicing requests within the same system. Whoever is buying our product may require services at some point in time. Since we’re able to manage this in one single place, we can better serve our customers.

They had three developers, one project manager, and a QA person who was partially working with us. There was a CRM architect available if required.

They were referred to us by someone who has an existing relationship with them. After seeing their quality of work, we decided to go with them straight away.

The product does what it’s supposed to do, making more of our clients happier with our services. With the CRM, we have much more information about our customers at our disposal, and consumer activity is tracked.

When a customer calls about a technical issue with a product, we’re able to deal with it on time because we have that complete history. My business has grown as a result.

The communication and information exchange was great. They were on time, clear, and transparent. I could trust them because they always came back with a nice solution that filled our needs. I appreciated how they manage their communication and project management.

They’re encouraging, straightforward, and transparent. I’m not a technical person, but they help me understand their work. They brought me up to speed in ways that I was able to easily comprehend.

Projects like this can be difficult for non-technical people because of all of the industry terms that come with tech. However, their team was able to communicate complex issues to us in ways that we could understand.

We have clients that need more consultation and personalized approach. Managing customer profiles and quotations took a lot of effort on our side. We needed help with building a custom internal tool to handle that data.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mind IT Systems developed an internal portal for us using SuiteCRM. There’s a single interface for us with customer profiles, lead management, quote management, and more. Whenever a travel list comes in, it needs to be managed in real-time. In addition, we have multiple sources for lead generation and some employees working from home. The solution allows for immediate access to any leads or travel lists and tells me where they’re positioned right now.

We work with two developers and a project manager.

The new system is more convenient for us. The entire team can see and complete every task in a single panel. We’re not using different templates or software for different tasks anymore.

Their communication is super. We don’t know much about IT and could only share with them the problems we were facing. They were upfront about the work and their capabilities; they even did a major part of the requirements.
