Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of HourHealth Inc., a healthcare platform and marketplace where nurses can access flexible work. Our platform allows healthcare facilities to post jobs for nurses to access and accept them.
What challenge were you trying to address with Mind IT Systems?
I had used another company to build my platform and failed, so I started looking for a development partner again.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Mind IT is developing a mobile app for our platform. Initially, we went through a series of interviews, during which they gathered information about our company. Then, they provided us with feedback regarding our goals and a timeline for the design process.
Mind IT took eight weeks to complete the design process, after which they started the development process. Our app has three sides to it, a portal for nurses, a portal for healthcare facilities, and an administration panel. Mind IT has already developed the portal for nurses, and they’re currently testing it. Once we finish with the entire process, we’ll test the app once again to work on any bugs that we might find.
Throughout the process, Mind IT has made different recommendations and given us different options regarding the technology stack. They’ve walked me through the differences between each technology, and I’ve listened to their advice.
What is the team composition?
I’ve worked with Mind IT’s founders, business managers, and three people from their design team. Currently, I work with the project manager and a developer.
How did you come to work with Mind IT Systems?
I found them through a recommendation from a trusted source — one of my former classmates recommended them. I already had experience working with the other company, so I learned a lot about what would make a great partner.
How much have you invested in them?
I’ve spent around $25,000–$30,000 to date.
What is the status of this engagement?
I started working with them in September 2022, and the project is ongoing. I’m expecting the project to wrap up at the end of February 2023, after which we’ll test the app. Moving forward, we’ll use their maintenance services as well.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Thus far, Mind IT’s work has been on target, and the project is progressing well. In just three months, they’ve been able to achieve what the other company couldn’t in nine.
How did Mind IT Systems perform from a project management standpoint?
Initially, we broke the project down into phases, and Mind IT has been on target regarding the milestones. They’ve delivered assets in a timely manner, sometimes even before the deadline, and they give us enough time to provide feedback and ensure we’re happy with their work.
Moreover, Mind IT has been very patient with us in guiding us throughout the process, especially through things that may be confusing for non-technical people. Their pricing is also very reasonable, which is great. Overall, they’ve been a great partner.
As for communication, we have scheduled meetings, and after each meeting, they create a summary of the topics discussed so that everyone knows what’s going on at all times. We use Google Meet and WhatsApp to communicate.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’ve really enjoyed working with Mind IT. They’re very responsive, and I know that I’ll rely on them to solve any issues after the launch.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t have any constructive feedback. Thus far, it has been a very positive interaction.

Make sure to go through the design process and check that your idea is clearly captured on paper.

Data Collection and Reporting Information System
A Web-based Data Collection and Reporting Information System (DCARIS) for Opioid peer support specialists for tracking Opioid users through the intake to recovery. The clients are onboarded by support specialists including who then track the abuse history as well as Suicide Severity Rating, Anxiety disorder tracking, Patient health questionnaire, Quality of Life Enjoyment and Satisfaction. Basis this, clients can be referred or routed to appropriate agencies/providers. Federal assessments are also recorded.
The central goal of this application is to aid the national practice center (funded by CDC since 1999) is to develop leadership, policy training, and telehealth initiatives that support the health and wellness of people with disabilities. The system follows HIPPA guidelines and encrypted HL7 based messages interchanging.

Making transactions easier for Avondale Care Scotland
Avondale Care is a small family-run care group with over 30 years of experience. Through their 5 care homes, Avondale provides old-age care home facilities to their customers all across Scotland. They provide both live-in care and domiciliary care.
We developed a web-based multi-tenant app for letting caregivers manage expenses and funds for each one of the care receivers across multiple care homes. The application also lets family members track the expenses and available funds for their beloved member receiving care at one of the care homes.

India Shelter Vendor App
India Shelter Finance Corporation Ltd (ISFC) provides credit to middle-income households to acquire new housing or to extend and improve their current housing. Before giving the credit company has to do some technical verification which involves filling up forms and uploading documents (in PDF) and photographs of the property.
The Android app that we’ve built comes in very handy to the in-field agents who visit the property and can now capture all info and documents in the app. Earlier the agents used to capture all info and then upload it after visiting the branch or their office. This resulted in delays and missing information and documents.
Now the vendors can work even if they may not have internet connectivity as all info is stored in the local database and uploaded to the server whenever the internet is available. They can even click pictures of documents shown by customers for verification and convert them to PDF on the fly.

eVIN is an integrated package of people, processes, and products. Our team was instrumental in gathering requirements and doing a functional analysis of the system in collaboration with various government departments and stakeholders.
The system has been implemented in all 731 districts, across 36 states and union territories and achieved over 80% reduction in instances of vaccine stock-outs and ensured improved availability of adequate and potent UIP vaccines with a vaccine availability rate of over 99% at all cold chain points.

GIGW Compliant Front-end Development for IRDAI
The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) is the Insurance Regulatory Body of India under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. The Authority is tasked with regulating and licensing the insurance and re-insurance industries in India.
We custom created HTML pages for IRDAI main and Policy Holder websites to implement the completely new look and feel which will be used within their CMS. We worked with the CMS team closely to make sure all the government guidelines around accessibility, security, etc. are met and each page renders perfectly on all the devices, sizes, and resolutions, with things like dark mode, and variable font sizes.
Guidelines followed: GIGW, W3C, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 level AA certification, Nielsen and Molich’s 10 User Interface Design Guidelines, and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0).

Ascendas Fines Management System
The Fines Management System is a simple application with a web and mobile interface that allows various authorities in Ireland to issue and manage fines for offenses like littering and the environment.
The authorized person from Ireland Local Authorities can use the Android Application to issue a fine against an offender from anywhere, at any time. The intention is to make this process fairly simple and quick. Fines related to littering done by the offender or their dog, polluting river, or smoke pollution are handled by this app. In the backend admin panel, the authorities can manage the fines and generate letters, while the offenders can pay their fine using the website payment module.
The backend panel also allows the import and export of data for greater convenience and record keeping.

India Shelter Finance Corporation Ltd (ISFC) provides credit to middle income households to acquire new housing or to extend and improve their current housing.
We recently designed and are now developing a customer onboarding workflow for their existing website to allow customers have a smooth, hassle free process of providing all the required information. The process helps establish customers’ eligibility for a loan and then providing the necessary information and documentation.
The portal will help achieve greater flexibility for customers to be able to share all information at his/ her own pace and also empower the back-end team members by providing all information in correct format and in one bundle thus improving the loan approval process and turn-around time.
When designing this process, we went through multiple iterations to make sure the tool is user friendly and easy enough for our targeted audience.

Oracle solicitors is a law firm that handles Airlines Claims across multiple countries (UK, Italy & Germany). The senior management is primarily based in UK and is expanding further.

Accomplished: We worked closely with the team to understand how they work and have designed a highly configurable web application that will be cloud based and hence accessible across all the divisions and countries. iSight: Android Wearable App
iSight is an application designed to help the visually impaired community better understand their surroundings and also assist in doing their day-to-day tasks easily.
The app has voice-based features like:
- Scene detection: Describe your surroundings like identifying furniture, scene/ room type.
- Face detection: Identify when your contacts (pre-defined) are around and their emotions.
- Share a first-person view with a contact so that they can see what you are seeing and guide you manually.
- Product identification and detailing: Scan a barcode to identify a product using Google search and announce product name/ colour to assist in buying.
- OCR: Read text like road signs, menu, or product descriptions.
It’s built for the Vuzix Smart Glasses and makes use of the following integrations:

The app opens up with a camera preview to allow capturing the surroundings. The users can select various features using voice commands and start the snapper to start capturing the surroundings. All the responses are converted into speech and spoken to the user.

1 Min By Me is a video creation and editing platform. It allows users to create short 1 minute video resumes and fun-filled videos. Users can create a video slideshow using pictures from the gallery or capturing images from the app and apply various color filters, stickers, and audio to it either by recording a personal message in the app or selecting an audio file from the device.
Users have the option to upload their videos to Facebook to showcase their creativity.

The project consists of a web application as well as an Android Mobile application (only for field & Sales team for entries of advance received and expense made). It is a custom application built for a Publishing House. The structure and the flow are designed as per the client requirement and processes. The product management was completely handled by us including the requirement elicitation.
It allows the Headquarter to keep a bird’s eye view on the whole team and make the life of account office easy by giving them effortless access to collate all the data with supporting documents (user can add supporting bills or document with the expense or advance entries). The application also provides custom reporting as per the user role.

GetConvi – Remote Video Collection
GetConvi is an App to collect video customer stories/ testimonials without having to shoot in person. With this app, anyone can start collecting video stories for their business remotely at a fraction of video creation costs.
Getconvi lets the users record a video remotely using a video capture URL and transform them into a single video in a presentable way for the purpose of sharing it to different platforms. The requesting person can even define a set of questions to help the customer feedback on products, services, etc. After recording, the requester can view responses on the dashboard, edit the text overlays and export the final video to share on different platforms. Users can also create ads using textual scripts and transform that into a Video.

eCPAT – Electronic Community Park Audit Tool
The CPAT was developed as a tool that would enable diverse community stakeholders to audit local parks for their potential to promote physical activity, with an emphasis on the tool being user-friendly and focusing on youth physical activity. The application helps the user to capture all the amenities available inside the park. The capturing will be done by the auditor of an organization using mobile application. The auditor has to visit the park and answer all the questions available in the application and take pictures wherever required. Once the auditor submits the audit, it will then be visible to all the users who visit the CPAT portal.

SKOODOS - School Info Aggregator
Skoodos is an online school information platform that has thousands of schools listed in which parents can filter on various criteria. The app shows recommendations based on parents’ inputs to help parents decide the best school for their child. The platform targets low to medium budget schools who may not have their own websites or online presence and hence are not reachable for a bigger audience. They note only collect but also rate schools on a 7 point criteria as an independent assessment body to help validate things for parents & build their confidence.
The platform consists of a .NET based web application & an Android application which is under development.

Container Optimisation | Supply Chain Solution
It helped transform a logistics company’s distribution capabilities by building a next generation space optimization tool. We built a web based solution in Java that was integrated with Oracle Demantra an ERP solution being used by the client. The application pulled data from this ERP, applied calculations on top of it and recommended the best orders to fit in any given container, while allowing modifications to take care of the exceptions.

SMC 3D Model Application
The SMC 3D Model Application is developed as a tool that shows the live status of industrial equipment. The equipment contains valves, cylinders, pumps, etc. Whenever an error occurs on any of the equipment, the display shows the particular component in red color. simultaneously, an error message will be sent on mobile and email.
Using this application user can switch off / switch on the equipment, valve counts and enable/disable the circuits.

Machine Diagram Builder & Controller
The tool built by us helps manufacturing customers create virtual diagrams of the shop floor while adding programmable components that can be tracked and controlled via the associated web application. The builder allows users to drag and drop elements to create entirely customizable layouts which the supervising team can use to see what machine or component is working well and which may have raised an alert.

Interne, the AI-powered chatbot, is made for internal use. The user can:

I had used another company to build my platform and failed, so I started looking for a development partner again.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Mind IT is developing a mobile app for our platform. Initially, we went through a series of interviews, during which they gathered information about our company. Then, they provided us with feedback regarding our goals and a timeline for the design process.
Mind IT took eight weeks to complete the design process, after which they started the development process. Our app has three sides to it, a portal for nurses, a portal for healthcare facilities, and an administration panel. Mind IT has already developed the portal for nurses, and they’re currently testing it. Once we finish with the entire process, we’ll test the app once again to work on any bugs that we might find.

Initially, we broke the project down into phases, and Mind IT has been on target regarding the milestones. They’ve delivered assets in a timely manner, sometimes even before the deadline, and they give us enough time to provide feedback and ensure we’re happy with their work.
Moreover, Mind IT has been very patient with us in guiding us throughout the process, especially through things that may be confusing for non-technical people. Their pricing is also very reasonable, which is great. Overall, they’ve been a great partner.

I’m the director of a start-up business. I’m looking to develop a piece of software to help small to medium-sized companies improve their decision-making processes and business planning.

I’d looked in the market for a software solution for several years. Since I couldn’t find anything suitable for my requirements, I decided to develop software and an app that I could market in New Zealand and internationally.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Initially, I gave Mind IT Systems a handwritten dossier of about 25 pages that showed what I wanted the software to look like and the functionality I needed. They modernized it to make it more functional.
The solution will be a cloud-based application with APIs to the Xero accounting software, a system for accounting practitioners in public offices and small to medium-sized businesses. The framework is C# and Angular with a .NET backend. Mind IT System has been in charge of development and design. They’ve also tagged on a software landing page website. The project hasn’t been completed yet, but we’re nearly there.

They understand what I want, and my overall experience has been good. I’m satisfied with what they’ve done.
How did Mind IT Systems perform from a project management standpoint?
The project has extended longer than the initial estimated time, although it was expected. It’s just what falls out of product development when you make changes. I’m an accountant, so I’m busy doing my full-time job; this is a side project for me. Mind IT Systems doesn’t bother me every day and just gets in touch once or twice a week to finetune things. In that respect, the fit has been good. Our relationship works well for me.
Moreover, Mind IT Systems has helped me throughout the project to make the functionality better. They took my initial wireframe and came back with suggestions, which have extended the delivery time as well. For communication, we have a weekly Zoom call with them to see the progress. Outside of that, we’ve used emails for questions, fine-tuning, and design aspects.

We needed a computer program to aid with the residents’ petty cash and expenses. However, there was nothing on the market that allowed us to use it in one facility, so we decided to get it done.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We initially contacted Mind IT Systems with an idea in our head. We explained to them what we were looking for, an easy-to-use system that would allow us to manage all of our residents’ pocket money. Then, they came back with their idea, which was exactly what we’d visualized.
Mind IT Systems developed the web application and did the design. It was a standalone program with its own login detail. Basically, it was an improved version of a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet — they made it simple for us.
Additionally, they didn’t push their services or constantly tried to get more money out of us. However, we have other projects moving forward, and we’ll go straight back to them.

They’ve set up a WhatsApp group with everybody involved so it doesn’t matter what time of day it is. In the beginning, we messaged them if there was an issue, and the longest it took them to respond was one hour.

When we ask them to do something, they break it down and give us a timeframe for every element. Their team always hits that time frame, and they follow it with an email to say it’s completed. In general, they’re banging on time. If they say it’ll be done by February 1st at 1:00 o’clock, it’s done at 1:00 o’clock.
Since we’re a small team, we’ve only needed WhatsApp to communicate. If we want something new, we organize a Zoom call to speak face to face, but WhatsApp has worked wonderfully for us.
What did you find most impressive about them?
First, their ability to understand our concept when it was just in our head was outstanding. We just told them a story of our vision, and they completely understood it. We didn’t send any documents, pictures, or anything, so it was pretty strange.
Secondly, we’re really impressed with their communication. We were concerned that the time difference would cause issues, but it has been fantastic.

They've been able to do that in the first three months of the project, and since then, the team has been delivering code that only has 10%–20% of the number of bugs that we encountered with our previous provider.

The good from a project management standpoint. We like that we can work directly with the developers, who are great at reporting their tasks and checking in on customer satisfaction on a regular basis.
We work in an agile method and Mind IT has been very responsive and flexible with it, which is what we need. The developers also work within our Microsoft Visual Studio and Azure Visual Studio setups. We communicate with them using a Teams-type product, Zoom, and email. The team participates in our daily stand-ups and can readily accommodate us if we need to speak with them in the morning or in the evening.

Their services are very satisfactory compared to that of the other providers that we’ve worked with in the past.

They're now working on a customer onboarding portal. With it, customers can come to our website and apply for the loan online through a form. They can fill in their entire application and upload all the required documents. We can then underwrite those documents and process the loan faster.

I communicate with them at least once each week through an update call. My team members talk to them almost daily. We use Google Meet and Zoom to communicate. Mind IT largely delivers on time, even if things get complicated on our end.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of a financial software development company. We primarily serve the public sector in our development. We’re a small business with a five-person team.
What challenge were you trying to address with Mind IT Systems?
We enlisted their help in developing a mobile app that serves the subsidized housing sector in Ireland. Local governments own and rent out houses, which are inspected before being leased to low-income residents.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Mind IT Systems is developing an Android app that facilitates the house inspection process. Inspectors can use the app to log areas of damage. That information is then sent to a contractor who’s responsible for the necessary repair work. The app interacts with the user’s environment through a 360-degree camera.
The app has a .NET web component. The web application allows for the local authorities to manage and allocate the tasks native to the inspection and repairs process. It’s connected to a portal where contractors can provide quotes for their services.
