They continuously monitor the performance and provide model updates and releases based on changes in data or client needs. In addition, they provide reporting and ad hoc insights to inform strategy and decision making.

The project goal was developing a robust and generalizable NLP system that would classify input unstructured text into several thousands structured categories following a text-to-text design.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• We have built a rigorous and end-to-end ML engine with twice as better performance as the initial benchmark model achieved. The Metric team played a key role in selecting and building the algorithms and models used in the final engine as well as in close alternatives

It was very effective. We used shared Slack channels for written communication and daily standups. We occasionally also had offline meetings.

The team owned the project and was very committed to going the extra mile for success. The team also demonstrated outstanding knowledge of state-of-the-art NLP models and approaches

I am the CEO of a wearable tech VC-backed startup where we help ppl track & manage physical activity and body weight by combining smart insoles with blockchain.

For what projects/services did your company hire Metric LLC?

We were looking to predict human body weight based on the load data from the hill part of the user one foot. And we needed the Metric team to help us properly collect & label data and later experiment with different methodologies to find the best Model with the highest accuracy.

Metric leaders and the entire team showed great background, professionalism, and, more importantly, a high level of dedication and genuine interest in our mission and vision.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

First, they helped us to design and implement the data acquisition process. Then they actively participated in the data acquisition process committing time with the entire team and even asking their friends to participate in data collection. Then they experimented with a couple of approaches.

Then they gave a report on where we could improve the signal processing(filtering). Finally, they found a model which provided the minimum viable accuracy for our product to move to the next phase.

Three members of the Metric team were engaged with us: Data scientist Junior ML engineer CEO, Sir. data scientist and ML engineer they also actively mentored our data analyst

The model and the methodology developed by the Metric team served as a foundation for our further ML/AI product development.

They were super dedicated and mentored our team as well as helped as in forming our own ML team

Even though the problem we outsourced was not the Metric team's main domain of expertise (mainly due to sensor data, and signal processing needs), the results were enough to serve as the foundation.
