I’m the director of product engineering at a software company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Meticulous, LLC?

Our main web application’s UI/UX was outdated, and we’ve received feedback from our customers that it felt clunky. We needed a company that could update our product’s UI/UX.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started the engagement by conducting a UI audit, which involved looking through our entire application and coming up with a list of all the things that we needed to do to update the UI from top to bottom. They’re now working with us to implement those things using ViewComponent and Tailwind CSS.

We found Meticulous, LLC through a referral. I’ve known John for a while and seen some of his past work, so I already know he does great work and is very experienced.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $20,000–$30,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We haven’t implemented the changes yet, but I’d say that the final product we got was high-quality, exactly what we were looking for, and exactly what we’d want from a UI audit.

How did Meticulous, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

Meticulous, LLC has performed well in terms of project management. They’re incredibly responsive and receptive to our feedback. They also deliver on time and within budget.

We typically communicate through Slack and Zoom meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We have business needs and requirements that aren’t necessarily compatible with the designs we wanted. Still, John has been excellent at taking those requirements and goals and then leveraging their UI and design knowledge to figure out a solution that is not just visually appealing but also functional.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I’m satisfied with their work.
