Metaseed collaborated closely with White Pine Therapy company and made significant improvements in operations, client acquisition and marketing. Streamlined Scheduling: 

1. Assessed Current System: Metaseed evaluated the existing scheduling system to pinpoint inefficiencies. 
2. Implemented Digital Tools: They introduced an online booking system with automated reminders to reduce missed appointments. 
3. Developed Centralized Database: A unified client database was created for better access to information.

Dedication to client needs and accessibility. When I had an issue, it was addressed very quickly. The team is also very pleasant to work with. Expectations are set ahead of time and goals are frequently referenced and updated when appropriate.

It would have been great if MetaLabs could have pointed out other resources that could enhance my business. It could be great if they can grow their resources to be a one-stop-shop for business development.

MetaLabs joined our overall dev team efforts including collaboration across Github, Pivotal Tracker, Slack and more environments, plus stan-dup participation and overall integration into our comm.s practices. This good conduct included good connections between management & dev talent on our side as client, and also management & dev talent on their side -- we all have worked well together in whatever combinations of interacting there's been. 

Beyond generally picking up stories when capacity allowed in our agile approach, Metalabs developers took on a couple of key initiatives that had not yet been started, and it was time. Those were both delivered with thoroughness, consistency, timeliness, strategic creativity and good communication and documentation. 

There was one bad development in work we did together, which was a situation Metalabs proactively addressed (just as I personally was just becoming aware of there being an issue) and resolved very swiftly & professionally.

The entire project consisted of a mobile application for both iOS and Android that allowed my students to book onsite classes easily while tracking their membership status and manage payments easily with a payment gateway. This also meant that I needed an admin dashboard to keep track of all of this data and also add new students to the platform.

Finally, we worked on a first sketch of a first version of my website, which I plan on improving soon in order to start selling online content to Argentina and Chile.

Deliverables where always on time, the "staging" environment was always available if I wanted to test anything any day, and their flexibility to adjust to my schedule was incredible.

We had simple mockups of our desired design and we took them as far as we could, but we knew we needed professional help to get our app looking consumer-grade.

How did you select this vendor?

Marco, the CEO, reached out to me directly via LinkedIn. I get business development messages from vendors all the time, but Marco stood out. He took the time to actually research our business and understand our vision. This gave me the confidence that he could help us build the product we want to bring to market.

After a couple of meetings to outline the scope of the project, see prior examples of their work, and get an understanding of how they would tackle the work, I was sold.

• Initial meeting to establish the direction of the designs
• We provided feedback on the design direction
• They came back with a quick example of their ideas for the first and most critical flow of the app, using the design direction we agreed upon
• We gave feedback on that first example
• Using the feedback provided, they delivered a polished first flow
• They set up UX testing via Maze so we could validate the designs with real users
• As we ran testing, they completed the rest of the flows within the app as we provided feedback along the way
• They delivered a complete prototype in Figma

All of this happened within 2 weeks, which is mind-blowing given the complexity of our app.

We had daily meetings with the Lead Designer and the CEO would jump into those meetings every couple of days.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The feedback on the designs from real users has been overwhelmingly positive. Furthermore, the completed designs truly represent our brand identity and even go beyond what our initial vision was. We're extremely excited to launch our app in the coming weeks and have confidence that the user experience will be intuitive and engaging.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I mostly answered this in a previous question where I laid out the steps of the project, but the workflow was seamless. Daily meetings to check in on new designs and provide feedback plus a joint Slack channel where we could communicate asynchronously.I never felt like there was a gap in communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their professionalism and how they acted as true collaborators. I know it sounds cliche, but it didn't feel like they were contractors; it felt like they were part of our team. They brought enthusiasm and curiosity to each meeting and would occasionally question our design choices or provide an alternative option we hadn't even thought of.

As a result, our designs are significantly better than they would have been if they had simply taken orders and didn't truly understand our business.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It would have been nice to receive a written update on what changes were made each day while iterating on designs. We communicated via slack and we had our daily meeting to review new designs, but sometimes it was challenging to remember all of the changes we had requested and all of the changes they had performed.

That being said, I don't think it impacted the project significantly and we still felt as if all of our requested changes were made.
