Merits

Merits, a B Corp and benefit company founded in Milan in 2017 is committed to creating social innovation and sustainable, shared economic development through a digitally based relational platform. Merits is among the recipients of the award made available by the NGI initiative (Next Generation Internet) to recognize and support the best high social impact solutions built with blockchain technology; in September 2020 Merits entered the acceleration path of Le Village, the innovation HUB of the Crédit Agricole group in Italy. The Merits digital relational platform allows, based on different application models, to generate digital vouchers-"merits"-that are given to citizens in the form of digital tokens that promote local socio-economic development and the creation of reciprocity networks: merits-discount and merits-cash.

Merits is in fact a community in which donations to organizations with a social purpose are rewarded with merits, an internal digital currency of the circuit that allows you to purchase goods and services at participating entities.
