We engaged Mergewave Capital to support TechMagic's acquisition of Diversido, a Kyiv-based development studio specializing in HealthTech, IoT, and online education. For us, the hardest part of any M&A process isn't the paperwork - it's finding the right target in the first place. Mergewave Capital handled exactly that: they identified Diversido as a strong strategic fit for our growth direction and brought the opportunity to us. That alone was worth the partnership.

From first meeting to signed documents took approximately two months. The team acted as frontmen throughout the entire process, managing negotiations on our behalf and keeping both sides aligned.

We closed a deal and acquired a software development company pretty fast. As a result, TechMagic acquired 100% of Diversido, bringing 20+ specialists onboard and growing our total team to 440+ people. The acquisition directly strengthened our portfolio of clients, which is a key strategic direction for us. The founder of Diversido also joined TechMagic's management team, making this not just a talent acquisition but a leadership one as well.

The one thing we'd love to see improve is the pipeline volume. While the quality of the match was spot on, we would have appreciated a broader selection of potential acquisition targets to evaluate. A bigger pipeline gives the buyer more context, sharper comparison, and ultimately more confidence in the final decision.
