I am the CEO of Sax Lift, a leading manufacturing company providing lift table solutions in Europe. Our products range from scissor lift tables to customized lifting solutions in 20 markets

For what projects/services did your company hire MediaGroup Worldwide, and what were your goals?

We have decided to start a digital transformation of the company. We wanted to get more out of our marketing budget by focusing on digital advertising opportunities, thus making the inbound marketing channel the lead business driver during the process. We asked MediaGroup Worldwide to restructure our paid channels. The focus was mainly on building a flexible setup regarding expansion and increased focus on data to justify media spending. Together with our inhouse digital capabilities they implemented a new campaign structure that aligns different stages in our customers’ journey. The digital activities included PPC, SEO and Display campaigns.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Sax Lift has been cooperating with MediaGroup Worldwide in PPC, SEO and Display activities since 2018. The deciding factors for us were the agency's international presence, multilingual team and extensive experience in digital performance activities.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and campaigns.

Our primary marketing objectives were to acquire high-quality leads at scale and maximize B2B revenue alongside turnover with the addition of a new customer base. The PPC campaign restructure was launched in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria and Switzerland in Q2 2021, and it is gradually rolling out in all 20 markets with local translation.

RTB supported the activities of other channels by running retargeting campaigns for visitors of the Sax Lift website from all traffic sources, focusing on users from the middle and bottom-funnel (consideration and decision stages). The SEO team implemented improvements in crawlability by search engines, such as the sitemap, redirections, and interlinking optimizations. In addition to the undertaken technical optimizations, MediaGroup has developed a link-building campaign that focused on identifying industry-related keywords following an in-depth keyword analysis.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We reached significant results and massive sales improvement in 2021, compared to 2020:

• Number of new B2B customers increased by 83.3%.
• Sax Lift’s revenue in 2021 increased by 35% year-on-year.
• 2021 ROAS was 2300%.
• Impression increased by 164% and CTR improved by 33.8%.
• Number of new quote and repeated quotes uplifted by 47.9% and 35.2%.
• UK Market reached a doubled revenue return in 2021 1H, compared to that in 2020.
• 80% increase in lead results and CPL has decreased by 50%.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

MediaGroup Worldwide is a very skilled and effective digital agency. They work fast, are proactive and extremely knowledgeable on any aspect of commercial online disciplines. We appreciate their results-oriented approach to collaboration and valuable feedback. Also impressive is their statistical practice applied to paid campaigns.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There are no particular areas to point out, we work together for a common goal to achieve better and better results. Important in any digital relationship is that both parties are 100% dedicated to the journey and allocate the proper resources to it

The financial market is a very competitive one in general, and Saxo Bank is up against other brokers with a global presence. This competitiveness is also heightened in Asia, where the bank would be competing against locally and more established financial institutions. The goals of our SEO program were to improve the visibility of our website in search engines in all markets and grow organic traffic.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Saxo Bank has been working with MediaGroup for years on other digital marketing initiatives, so this was a natural decision for us. We value MediaGroup for their deep understanding of our industry, experienced SEO professionals familiar with various native languages and local markets, and concrete and quick feedback.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and campaigns.

MediaGroup was responsible for comprehensive SEO activities, including on- and off-site factors and SEO content. The campaign was conducted globally with local translation, covering 15 markets. They diagnosed the areas of weakness with ongoing audits and provided recommendations for implementation for all markets. The sites were evaluated against best practices to ensure all possible content was accessible to search engines and users.

After this phase, the link acquisition strategy through content efforts was implemented, for example, by finding pages on websites that have mentioned our bank without adding clickable links and doing outreach. MediaGroup created new instrument pages for the Danish, Dutch, and global markets and improved existing ones to meet SEO best practices as part of the content strategy.

For the Singaporean market, they developed a cluster of on-site evergreen educational content to increase the number of organic keywords and visibility within the market.

We were in constant contact with the head of SEO at MediaGroup and three SEO specialists.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

In the period from October 2020 to March 2022, our SEO campaign achieved the following results:

• Our organic traffic increased significantly by around 179%. The total number of organic keywords for the domain increased by 166%.
• The number of referring domains increased by 81%.
• Monthly impressions increased by approximately 58%.
• The keywords in local markets such as Singapore rank in the top 10 on local SERPs, despite fierce competition.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Their approach to the project was fully transparent. MediaGroup created a dashboard containing key metrics such as the number of keywords, keyword rankings, and traffic, and recorded month-on-month changes. This was supplemented by bi-weekly meetings and monthly summaries and reports.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

MediaGroup as a whole is very resourceful. They do large campaigns in many local markets without a lot of issues. The relationship is always very open and communicative which I appreciate a lot also. The most impressive was they got positive results!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In Dutch, we have a saying; where people work, people make mistakes. So there are always little things, but on the whole, there isn't a huge area for me to point out.
