I’m the Senior Director of Brand Messaging for BTY Creative, a strategic brand marketing and digital firm.

For what projects/services did your company hire Media Bar Productions, LLC?

We hired Media Bar to film and edit three TV commercials for a medical clinic client of ours.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed to get three high-quality concepts produced cost-effectively.

How did you select this vendor?

We’ve worked with Media Bar many times in the past. They’ve proven to be extremely efficient, reliable, easy-to-work with, cost-effective, and creative.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

After looking over the storyboards we provided, Media Bar helped us to scout out locations for the shoot, as well as coordinate times for filming. They also arranged for a makeup artist to be on-set.

On the day of the shoot, they brought several crew members, a director, and many different cameras. They shot the TV spots that day, and then went back and edited them in a manner consistent with our storyboards. After integrating edits we asked for, they delivered the three 30-second spots, along with 15-, 10-, and 7-second spots.

What was the team composition?

We worked with a project manager and several directors/cameramen. They also had a person who managed the shot list and 1–2 people to help with all of the equipment.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We’ve had a good amount of customer recall on the TV spots, and we’ve used them on social media. The client has been thrilled with how they turned out.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager, Kyle (Owner, Media Bar Productions) is very easy to work with and get a hold of. He came to the table with a great knowledge of what needed to happen to get the job done correctly. The editor/cameraman, Max, had an extremely creative eye and great ideas. He was very receptive to collaboration and really seems to understand the vision of what we were trying to accomplish.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I’m constantly blown away by the amount of work that Media Bar does for the cost that they quote. They definitely go above and beyond regarding how many crew members are working on the project and how many extra shots they’ll capture.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Of course, we always want everything faster, faster, faster, but Media Bar has always been extremely responsive and sensitive to our timelines. On this project, the only thing that could have been improved was the weather, which caused a delay that couldn’t have been avoided.

The one video was to be produced tapping over the interface of the software product. Their team then over layed with animation an text.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

Very good listeners, with equally creative and thoughtful feedback and creative suggestions. Timely responses via email and phone. Available for in-person debrief meetings, demo's and QA/QC.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We decided last minute that we needed a video produced of our digital product for a tradeshow -- Kyle and Max met with my team twice at our offices, and had the project turned over in 1 week.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They were very effective, especially considering the time constraints.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Creative and highly skilled. Reasonable rates.

I’m a talent acquisition specialist at ST Engineering Aerospace. We’re an aircraft maintenance company located in San Antonio, Texas.

For what projects/services did your company hire Media Bar Productions, LLC?

Our San Antonio branch has never created or produced a company video and didn’t have any visual representations to show partners, employees, or prospective employees. This video was created to show at recruitment tours and career fairs to show others what we do at the company, including the services that we offer.

What were your goals for this project?

We hoped to increase and boost interest in the aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul world as well as increase interest in working for our company.

How did you select this vendor?

I had worked with Ruben (Co-Owner, Media Bar Productions) in the past. He has always been great at his work, so I was happy to introduce him to the current company I am with.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.

Ruben and Kyle (Co-Owner, Media Bar Productions) were amazing at assisting with the storyboard. We met a few times to talk about the objective and the storyboard, and they also helped with some creative insight. We were able to collaborate on ideas so that, once it came time to film, we would all be on the same page as far as the final product. We set one full workday of filming, and it all worked out extremely smoothly.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

The Media Bar team was great at providing creative feedback. They helped pick specific backdrops in the hangars because we had to be really careful about not getting customer logos in the shots. They were great at making sure we got the right angles so that we didn’t get any logos.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The video was a hit on social media. The video has over 50 shares, and we can use it for our cover photo on Facebook. This makes our Facebook page look professional and organized.

We also use the video to motivate our current employees. We share the video at the beginning of every tour that we host at our facility.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was great. I sent a schedule, and they followed it carefully. They also adjusted to any schedule changes that happened during the day of filming.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They give you their all! They’re so good at making sure that they’re all in with you from the start to the end.

The team was happy with making sure that we were happy, and we felt comfortable asking them for advice and their assistance.
