I’m a licensed esthetician and I give people facials. I work independently and have a studio, but I also travel to people’s homes.

What challenge were you trying to address with American Web Designers Inc?

I relied solely on Instagram, but I knew I needed a website for my business. I wanted something that wasn’t just a regular website, and showed movement and three-dimensionality. I wanted to draw people in and create a vibe and an energy that people could feel.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I gave them the content to put on the website and my vision, and they handled the design and development. The site shows my services and tells the viewer a little about me because I want them to feel like they already know me. The site features photographs of me across time because I am very involved in anti-aging and beauty, and I want people to see that I’ve preserved myself very well. 

Initially, I told them what I wanted, but they didn’t quite capture it. I went into more detail and explained how I wanted the website to feel like it had a sense of peace and tranquility and allow a person to get to the core of their natural state. They built the website to take you into the ocean and the water underneath the waves, and beautiful music plays in the background. The website makes you feel like you’re actually in the water.

The website is now live, but we are still working through some further details.

The website is now live, and I feel like they really captured my energy and vision.

They’ve stayed within budget and delivered everything on time so far. We primarily communicate over the phone. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve felt supported throughout the process, and they’ve always answered my questions. They’ve found a way to make everything I've asked of them happen. They’re effective, efficient, and they know what they’re doing.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It sometimes feels like they ask for money pretty often, and it creates a lot of anxiety for me, especially because I don’t have the best financial situation. I would appreciate if they had a structured payment plan. We’ve also had a few miscommunications involving the website going live and the payments surrounding that, and I feel like they misrepresented the process. They know my financial situation, and it feels like they might be taking advantage of that slightly.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Pay attention to the small details like grammar and content. I would also recommend that people pay outright and not with individual payments.

We are happy with the software and the deal we got from the company. We wanted a good-functioning website, CRM, and other software, and the team at AWM ticked all the boxes. Speaking with the service team helped us get exactly what we were looking for. The only reason to give 5 stars is the fact that they delivered a revenue-generating website. They wire hired to connect a few API's. However, they are a scam company and NEVER did anything for us. They got violent after unauthorized charges to us. They stole our money and never did any work. Take them off of your site before they destroy your brand. We trusted you guys, and was let down.

This "fake" company is a scam. They stole nearly 1k from us, and never finished project. They said it would take three days and months later, we needed to file complaints for unauthorized charges. They will give no information on the legitimacy of there business and are not a real company. We have found IP address linking them to Pakistan. After filing complaints, and numerous empty promises of refunds they just got really nasty.
