MarsBased is a Barcelona-based software consultancy specialised in AI-augmented development. Senior engineers, working with a proven AI methodology, deliver complex projects on time, on budget and built to scale.
Since 2014 we have shipped 200+ projects for enterprises and scale-ups such as Moody’s, FC Barcelona, Boston Consulting Group and Rakuten, using Ruby on Rails, Python, Node.js and React. Clients stay with us for over five years on average, and twelve of them have gone on to successful exits.
What we do:
- AI development: agents, LLM integrations and AI features in production
- Custom web platforms and enterprise software
- Technical due diligence and audits for investors and acquirers
- Rescue Squad: taking over and stabilising troubled codebases
- Shopify and e-commerce development
We are fully remote, bootstrapped and independent, so we pick clients for fit, not for growth targets. Expect radical transparency, senior people on every project and a team with an average tenure of over five years.
