I’m the marketing director at a distribution company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Marketing in Romania?

We had trouble establishing an online presence to sell our products. We contracted with Marketing in Romania to help us develop our web platform. We also rely on them for a host of marketing and advertising tasks.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We provided them with a product portfolio, which included information and photos of each product. A vital part of this endeavor was to identify how consumers would search for a certain product, so it was essential for us to have well-defined filters.

They developed our web platform with Magento. Once the website was completed, they coordinated our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. Their team also arranged for a few Romanian magazines to publish articles featuring specific products.

Our website was complete and live in March 2015. We are now redesigning the site to present a more modern look. We are also adding an integration that will process our orders directly through our enterprise resource planning (ERP) to promote a streamlined operation. Currently, everything is completed through email, which consumes a lot of resources.

What is the team composition?

Our team consists of three people. In addition to a project manager, we work with an online advertiser and PR specialist and a customer service and content management staffer.
