What challenge were you trying to address with Marketing Global Stores?

I needed them to advertise my business to potential suppliers.

What was the scope of their involvement?

My engagement with Marketing Global Stores started with the goal of gaining more Australian-based suppliers to amplify my company’s marketing efforts. I laid out my project goals and sent them an email stating that I wanted to improve my small business through effective marketing and reliable suppliers.

Marketing Global Stores informed me that they already set up accounts that would help me secure the suppliers I wanted, so I thought there was no need to worry. However, I soon figured out that the suppliers they contacted did not actually sell the products that I intended to have. Their suggestions also violated eBay policies because they proposed to market out-of-stock products.

As for my Instagram page that they promised to promote, they only managed to have thousands of fake accounts to follow it, despite my demand for actual 4,000 followers.

I worked with Marketing Global Stores' owner, head of marketing, strategy and training coach, and their web designer.

How did you come to work with Marketing Global Stores?

Their team topped the Google search results for marketing agencies in Australia. I trusted them because they had a 5-star rating on Google, but later on, I found out that those reviews were fake.

How much have you invested with them?

I spent $20,000.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The project was a 100% failure — my business never went live, and Marketing Global Stores never managed to get me the products and the niche I was after. Their failure to follow regulations failed my system and my business as well.

In addition to the amount of money I paid them, I lost a 20% interest rate and a total of $15,000 from taking unpaid work leaves just to attend our meetings.

How did Marketing Global Stores perform from a project management standpoint?

We mainly communicated via email. Marketing Global Stores kept responding to my questions with their false promises. At some point, they became aggressive on our phone calls and even sent me threatening messages.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I trusted that they were locals and yet they were in contact with Australian suppliers, but they completely failed me in the latter aspect.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Every business aspect must be improved. They have to work on their communication, integrity, professionalism, and code of conduct. They must not mislead people into thinking that they are a reliable team with organic reviews.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Don’t hire Marketing Global Stores — go with a well-established company to save your business from any failure.
