We were challenged to step out of our comfort zone to finalize the logo and design. We finalized logo in 6 weeks to start on the website.

Timelines were met. I enjoyed utilizing the portal and keeping a timeline on both sides.

The kick off meeting was great and we would have appreciated a bit more layout of the structure. Sometimes there was overlap in the questions asked to finalize the design.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• I was given a number of "assignments" to complete to help the artist understand what I wanted. I was sourcing examples and providing them, and then the designer would ask detailed questions to help her understand what I wanted. All of this communication took place through her portal and email; we had two virtual design meetings.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The Marin Agency process works well for those who are able to meet her strict guidelines; clients are given a window of time to respond. This does keep the project on track and ensures forward movement. The agency does not make any time commitments, but their response time is reasonable: usually within a few days. Any client needs must be expressed in writing through their portal.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their processes were highly commendable. They hold the client accountable, and usually, it's the reverse. But in doing so, decisions are made and the project moves forward.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Marin Design Agency could have done differently?

There needs to be a way to communicate with them outside the portal. They insist that all communication take place within the portal, but that only happens when they are ready to move on to the next step. Any technical difficulties with the portal itself cannot be addressed in real time.
