Please describe your company and your position there.
Colliers International is a leading commercial real estate company in Australia and around the world. Providing a full range of real estate services, we represent property owners, investors, developers, and occupants in local and global markets.
Within our Melbourne central business district (CBD) sales team, we work closely with clients to sell commercial real estate throughout the Melbourne CBD and City Fringe. We focus on fostering strong, long term client relationships across all asset classes, including office, retail, development sites, education, and car parks. I look after the marketing for our Melbourne City sales team. In this role, I focus on high-quality property campaigns and market-related client events.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire Man With A Camera Photography?
Colliers International has hired Man With A Camera Photography for every high-profile client event held over the last three years. These included events such as Chinese New Year celebrations and our boardroom and mid-year reviews held in our office.
What were your goals for this project?
Our goal is to obtain high-end photographs of our presentations and client engagement. We generally have over 100 clients join us at each event.

Man With A Camera Photography has provided photography services for a variety of our recurring events, such as our Chinese New Year Celebration in February, our mid-year review in July and, occasionally, our Q4 market update in October.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Using Man With A Camera Photography for our client events over the last three years has significantly increased the quality of marketing content that we can produce, especially compared to a potential in-house photographer who doesn’t have the same experience. Simon's photos have been shared with both external clients and the rest of our national business, and we’ve received exceptional feedback.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow was extremely organized, and communication was consistent. Man With A Camera Photography is very easy to converse with, and the briefing process for each event has become streamlined.
I find that having one point of contact works best from both ends. It keeps communication simple when you are only dealing with one person, rather than multiple. Simon is well aware of our expectations before and after our events and ensures that his photography is delivered quickly so we can meet our deadlines.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Simon is really easy to deal with, responsive, and flexible. He's a natural and requires very minimal direction, which makes event management a lot less stressful. He and his team also work hard to get us the best results. They provide a large range of photography services that cover absolutely everything we require.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I have no feedback for areas for improvement. Simon continues to meet my expectations.
