We are Mākaha Studios. As a social enterprise on the Waiʻanae Coast of Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi, we are harnessing the incredible creative talent of our youth and young adults, part of an ongoing effort to improve the education and economy of our community. The founding of Mākaha Studios was a result of the success of Searider Productions, the acclaimed integrated journalism and multimedia program at Waiʻanae High School.
