Since we are also a studio offering digital services, the work process was close to us. We needed to visualize 3 interface models of our various works. The guys built the process from the research, moodboards, draft concepts and the final result from the editing options.

The CEO controlled the whole process periodically connecting to make sure that everything was going well, we communicated with the designer and project manager in Slack and also used video calls in Zoom and video reports in Loom for demonstration

They showed a high level of competence and pleasant communication, the guys have been developing AR / VR products for a long time and really understand their business, explaining to us a lot of useful points

Are there any areas for improvement or something  Magic Playbox XR Studio could have done differently?

The guys have a lot of experience in this kind of products that are developed by the Magic play box, and the only thing I would like to advise is not to stop and continue to make the same cool products, because their services are at the highest level, I can’t find problematic moments in their work and communication.

I approached Magic Playbox with as an exploratory effort around creating an engaging brand experience in the metaverse. I've been working with a company that organizes music concerts.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I heard about Magic Playbox through a connection in my network. Overall my deciding factors came down to capabilities, completion timeframe, and cost.

The scope of work included building a comprehensive AR app that...

1. helps to buy tickets for concerts using the crypto wallet
2. enables them to virtually attend the show
3. also allows for interacting with other fans and artists.

There were a few stages of the app functionalities.

• We started with the discovery and concept approval.
• Then, there was approximately 4-5 weeks of development work
• There was a testing period
• Magic Playbox then presented the UAT version of the app

We spoke with the Project Manager and Creative Lead who presented the project concept. There were additional resources involved: Unity developer, 3D artists, QA Specialist, so in total 6 people.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The app helped to organize the event and make fans happier with quicker and better access to different stages. Also it was a great solution to upsell the tickets with additional products like merch, photo with celebrities, plus discounts for upcoming concerts with the artist.

All creative work was done in Figma. During the development, we used email, Google Meets, and Notion for communication. For the timeline and budget, we use a Google spreadsheet. We received two demos during the project. During the first demo we saw the main app functionalities and graphics. After that, we provided the feedback. They took around 2 weeks to complete all remediation, and after that, they presented the final demo. It was a pretty smooth launch I'd say.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their overall capabilities and experience in the space, taste in design, and communication were great! The process was collaborative and allowed for creative flexibility because Magic Playbox let you to believe that there's nothing impossible!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I was a bit limited in terms of budget from my side, it would have been nice to develop additional concepts suggested during our partnership.

I am the CEO of Motion Design Studio and a Video Production Company. We create videos from A to Z for our clients on both sides of the Atlantic.

For what projects/services did your company hire Magic Playbox, and what were your goals?

We were looking for an agency that can create an AR app for one basketball club. Since we don't specialize in AR, we found Magic Playbox which has great experience in this area. The goal was to help visitors to find any place in the stadium using virtual navigation to access the correct gate, find shops and snacks, and a photo booth.

Another agency that worked with them before recommended Magic Playbox to us. We were so excited to see their previous work and the concepts they proposed

They created an AR app that allowed visitors to find any place in the stadium (gate, shops, photo booth etc.). The app was integrated with the map to find out where the client is and uses virtual paths and arrows to help them find their destination. We sent them the photo of the stadium, and the map and they did everything else. First, we needed to confirm the prototype and then the magic happened and they sent us the app for testing. We were so happy with the design, and functionalities of this app.

It's a very simple question - their taste in design and communication style made them unique! People really want to get back to them with new crazy ideas because Magic Playbox let you to believe that there's nothing impossible!

I wish I had more budget for them to create all ideas they suggested during our partnership.
