Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We partnered with MadeCurious for the development to build a customer portal, now "LabConnect" as a solution to replace a manual sample pre-registeration process.

The key deliverables were - 

1. Protyping and technical feasibility assessement of the proposed solution
2. Identifying appropriate solution to securely interface with our LIMS system
3. Starting an MVP build and ensuring a continuity of AQ and MC involvement in the build
4. Deployement of app into multiple releases to make sure maximum value of functionality is delivered as soon as possible, are able to respond to changes as easily as possible and mitigate any risks

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

What started as a solution to replace a manual process has grown into one of our most widely used customer portals, supporting over 5,000 users across New Zealand and South East Asia.

LabConnect has helped us improve the customer experience, reduce manual effort entirely, and give customers greater visibility and control over their interactions with us.

MadeCurious combines strong technical expertise with a genuine commitment to understanding our business and our customers' needs. They are responsive, easy to work with, and consistently deliver practical solutions that add real value.

They have been a crucial part of our success is recommending the right options, flagging any concerns which has helped us make informed decisions time to time. They do what they say and have been consistent in timely delivery. They always keep us updated in one or the other form of communication channels that is approriate to the time and need of the project.

Today, we had a successful customer portal meeting that met all the requirements we had requested for our customer.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Scope:

Facilitate a session with the newly established data section, comprising two data teams, their two team leaders, and the manager. Purpose was to work through our collective wishes, goals, and challenges, and to pour that into a clearly stated section purpose and vision. In addition we required a first set of work goals as deliverable. Further support for the 3 leaders in implementing this in practice, in our daily jobs, was also part of the work required from MadeCurious.

• Successful facilitation of section purpose workshop and quick turnaround of deliverables.

MadeCurious has a pro-active approach to project management: quick communication, excellent time-management, and quick delivery of summaries or actions.

They excelled at adjusting their services to the customer's needs and business context. For example, they advised on realistic timeframes for implementing change in an organisation as big as ours, which helped us with our expectation management and goal setting. They also adjust their language and pace of the in-person workshops based on the group's skill level and backgrounds, thereby optimising engagement and avoiding people feeling left out.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Allrounders: MadeCurious staff are technically skilled but they also have very strong people skills with a great deal of business acumen. They're very pleasant to work with, and whatever support you're after, you will get that 'bonus' of working with allrounders who don't focus on one aspect of your poblem only.

Are there any areas for improvement or something MadeCurious Limited could have done differently?

MadeCurious could consider challenging leadership in other organisations to define (measurable) milestones when they're leading a team or business through a change process.
